Michael, Connor and Zoe wandered through the mighty woods looking for the best place to put Michael's plan into action. In this case, building a trap for Zak. Even though the sun was still rising and they had the whole day ahead of them, they still had a lot of work to do and needed to finish before the sun set again.
Connor walked behind Michael and Zoe, whistling the whole time and minding his own business. Michael, on the other hand, was deep in thought. He was afraid that his plan would not work as he had imagined and that all the work would be for nothing. He still had the feeling that he had forgotten something very important.
Connor: "Ay, hooman!"
Michael heard Connor from beside him on the left and turned to him with an annoyed expression on his face.
Michael: "You know my name, use it."
Connor: "Ay, I'm sorry, boy. Michael, right? Anyway, I was wondering why you're here on this strange world and how you managed to get here in the first place. Mind explaining it to me?"
Uh, how many times do I have to tell this damn story!? When will be the end of this!?
Michael: "Sorry, but I don't think I have enough nerves to tell it once again. Why don't you ask Zoe, I told her all about why I'm here."
Much to Michael's annoyance, Zoe explained everything to Connor about his story.
Zoe: "Well, from what I heard from Michi, his world was cruel to him. No one wanted to be friends with him and he was really alone and miserable, and after he had a bad day at school, he-"
Michael: "After I had the worst day at school."
Michael corrected Zoe.
Zoe: "Sorry, after the worst day at school he got fed up and decided it was best for him to-"
Michael: "To bungee jump off a bridge without a rope."
Zoe: "...Yeah.... But before he did that, he found a blue mystery key and it somehow brought him here."
Connor: "With a key to open a door? How did that work?"
Zoe: "He tried to open a locked door with it, and it worked, but instead of his room, there was another world on the other side. I still don't know how something like that works."
Michael: "Neither do I. But I'm glad it worked out that way. I like it here a lot better, and I even have friends, right?"
Connor: "Yeah, you can count on us!"
All three smiled as they walked a few more minutes until they found the perfect place to put Michael's plan into action. It was a small field in the middle of the forest that even had tall grass.
Zoe: "How about this place?"
Michael: "I say it's a jackpot! Even covered with tall grass, which makes it even harder to see the trap. And it's still early in the morning, so we have the whole day ahead of us."
Connor: "Splendid! So, who needs to do what?"
Michael: "Well, a little camp for the three of us would be important. It shouldn't be near the trap, but it should also be somewhere we can keep an eye on it."
Zoe: "I can do that."
Michael: "Good, then we also need someone to gather the resources to build the trap."
Connor: "Will do!"
Michael: "In the meantime, I'll go find some food for us. And when we're all done with our tasks, we'll set the traps and catch that mofo!"
