Chapter VII

The last chapter took a couple twists and turns, but in the end, I got to clarify something important; Karin is a total idiot. A cute one though, so she could still get somewhere in life.

I calmly walked through the hallways blasting Chun-Li through my AirPods. I feel like someone's calling my name. Nahhh. It's probably just that pest Naruto.  Suddenly someone smashed a sheet of paper in my face. It was Tenten and Lee. "Sakura! You are invited to our party tonight!" He shouted.

"Party?" I questioned. "Tonight?"

"Yeah. Me and Lee thought it'd be fun to celebrate my birthday with a party this Saturday," said Tenten.

"So, tomorrow?"

"Yeah, ignore Lee he's an idiot. But I hope to see you there!" She ran off dragging Lee behind her.

A party, huh.

I got out my phone and started texting Naruto about it. If he's not going, neither am I. I can't see myself surrounded by all those idiots I know she's going to invite. For instance, the useless Kiba, insect freak Shino, always eats the snacks Choji, and that pig Ino. 

I doubt Shikamaru would even bother to show up. He'll probably just give her a birthday card or something. Through the mail.

Talk about lazy.

Chapter VII - Tenten's Party
Sasuke's POV

After the incident with Sakura and Karin, I sat on the steps in the front of the school and listened to relaxing piano music.

Honestly, this whole 'fan-girl club' thing is getting ridiculous. It isn't even love, it's simple obsession. They don't know a single thing about me. You can't love someone you don't know.

Regardless, we've got three months of school left. Once I graduate, I won't ever have to see any of these people again. I just have to hang on until then.

"Hey! Sasuke! You coming!?" Shouted Naruto as he ran in my direction.

"Coming where?" I replied.

"Tenten's birthday party tomorrow, ya know," he said out of breath.

"Tenten?" I questioned.

"Yeah, ya know. Brown hair, two buns, good at sports..."

"Oh. You mean the one in Kakashi's class? Second period?"

"Yup, you got it," he smiled, "so, are ya coming?"

"No. I don't even know her."

"Ahhh come on. Just tag along with me and Sakura. It'll be fun!"

"Sakura?" I questioned.

"Yeah, me and her were gonna go together. Well, technically speaking I haven't asked her yet, but I know she wouldn't go alone. The two of you," he sighed, "so alike yet so different."

Alike? I don't see how that's possible. I'm not an Orphan Conqueror. "...Whatever, loser," I responded.

"Sooooooouuuuu, you'll come????"

"I suppose."

Sakura's POV

After finishing up with my last period, I made my way to my locker and started shoving my books inside. Neatly of course. As the Great Orphan Conqueror I must provide a prime example of what and what not to do.

I kissed the lovely picture of Onika Tanya Maraj goodbye for the time being then shut my door. I locked it a began making my way home, or at least I was going to, but of course, I bump into somebody.

My Iphone 24 8t 4K plus with 7 camera's and 568 gb slipped of of my hand, and someone grabbed my wrist and pulled me close to them so I wouldn't fall as well.

Wait a damn minute....Wait a damn minute.

I know those perfect big soft warm comforting magnifique hands anywhere!!! Well if it isn't Sasuke. But why the hell is he at my locker?

Maybe he's come to confess his long held love for me or something I dunno. Looks like I gotta get my rejection sentence ready. "So, are you going to Tenten's party?" Asked Naruto.

Oh. I didn't even notice him there. "Errr.. maybe. That all depends on you," I replied.

"Yeahh, me, you and Sasuke are gonna go together, ya know."

Okayyyyy?? I like how I was just automatically included. What if deep down inside I didn't wanna go? What if I was depressed?

I looked down and noticed Sasuke and I were still holding hands. I meannnnnn... if he's cool with it so am I. I'll just pretend not to notice until he notices.

I sighed, "what time do you want me to be ready?"

"7 o'clock ya know! We'll pick you up around that time. See ya," Naruto said, waving.

Sasuke looked down, then calmly let go of my hand and pushed it towards my chest, gently. "See you," he said.
