*Small Time Skip; Two Days Before Prom*
Alright, time to go get my hair trimmed. It's a little past my shoulders now, and the front stops at my chin. I also need a lash life, oh, I have to get my eyebrows done as well. Oh, I also need a dress. Damn. Why does that sound like so much work to do.
Mom is gone, don't know where she went but it's been a while since she's been here. She never tells me anything; but what new in that. Honestly, I don't really care if she shows up or not; I have Naruto and Sasuke.
Chapter XXVI - Because We're Women
I called Temari, Ino, and Tenten so we could all go prom shopping together. Last minute things are always the best. I also invited Hinata, I didn't exactly want to, assuming she'd hardly say anything and be awkward, but I felt obligated to. I mean, I have a really good feeling that her and Naruto will end up together; it'll be weird if I'm not friends with my best friend's girlfriend.
Once we all arrived at the mall we walked around for a bit going to random stores, buying a bunch of random things we wanted but very much didn't need. "So, where to next?" Temari asked, stretching her arms, "I'm exhausted, I feel like punching something."
".....okayyyyy?" I laughed, "how about we actually get our outfits for prom?"
"Y-yeah," Hinata nodded, "A-after all that is what we originally came for."
Oh. she talked. I'm so proud. *Tears*.

After going from dress shop to dress shop, the five of us eventually found something we wanted to wear. Hinata had a black dress, Temari got navy blue, Tenten got green, Ino got purple, and as for myself, I got red.
To go with my dress I got a pair of glass slippers- nahh just kidding; I got a pair of high heeled diamond covered shoes for about $2,000.00. Them bitch's got bling. *winks*.
We all made our way to the food court to eat and rest our feet after a long day of walking around. "Urghhhh! It feels so good to be off my feet!" Temari shouted, kicking her legs up.
"Yeahhhh," Ino sighed, "my poor aching feet finally get to catch a break."
"Yeah," Hinata nodded, smiling. "I just can't wait for tomorrow."
"Me eitherrrrr," I blushed, making up all different kinds of ✨spicy✨ scenarios in my head.
"Woah!" Tenten shouted, "who're you blushing about?!"
"I bet it's Sasuke~, isn't it?" Ino smirked, leaning over to me.
"Well, uhhh..you see..." I twirled my hair around my index finger, blushing, "we....uhhhh......."
"Just say the shit," Temari sighed, "damn."
"Well," I scratched back off my head, realizing I was beating around the bush. "The two of us-"
"Kissed," Temari cut me off, "and you're together now, is that it?"
"Uhhh.. yeah," I chuckled.
"Temari," Hinata started, "maybe you should've let her say it. Maybe she wanted to be the one to tell us..."
"Hinata, shut the hell up," Temari glared.
"Exactly, shut up," Tenten nodded.
"I agree, be quiet," Ino sighed.
Gah dayum. Talk about a massacre. I know her feelings hurt. "Uhhhh..." I said, trying to ease the tension, "it's fine, Hinata, I doubt I would've actually said it, every time I think about him I just.... urghhhh!"
"He ain't even all that," Temari laughed as she played with the straw of her drink. "I mean, he's kinda cute but that personality of his is a no-go. You can never tell what he's thinking."
"Really?" I tilted my head, "I actually find him pretty easy to read. He's so predictable."
"Predictable?" She raised her eyebrows. "Never; far from it."
"Mm.. maybe it's because we've been around one another a lot lately."
"I guess," she laughed, "I have been messing around with this one dude though..."
"Ouuuu," Tenten walked over, "the intelligent one, right?"
"Shikamaru?!" Shouted Ino.
"Shhhhh! Keep your voice down!" She blushed.
Never seen Temari nervous like that before; Shikamaru must be giving her that good good.
"Sooo, you're a thing now?" Tenten smirked.
"Uhhh....I-I don't exactly know.... it all depends on whether he asks me to prom or not."
"Hm, I see," I nodded.
Knowing Shikamaru, he isn't gonna do something big, such as making posters and stuff like that. He'll probably just straight up ask her and call it a day.
As for Sasuke, he wouldn't either. Honestly, would he even ask at all? I mean, he's never had romantic feelings for anyone before so he probably wouldn't know how much something like that meant to a girl. Well personally, a big proposal doesn't mean much to me, as long as he asks I'm fine. "So," Tenten started, "who're the two of you going with, Ino, Hinata?"
Hinata blushed. "Uhhhh.. I'm not sure yet," Ino replied, "but there is one guy that I've has my eye on for a while."
"Oh, you must mean Sai," I smirked.
"Y-yeah. Ahem, anyway, what about you Hinata?"
"O-oh, me? I-I wa-w-wanted t-t-t-to-"
"Girl shut the hell up," Temari facepalmed, "either just say the shit or keep ya mouth shut."
I mean, she has a point but gahh dayum. Temari is so mean, she's my favorite friend. "Her and Naruto have a little thing going on," I spoke up, "or something."
"Mm, I see," Ino said, picking at her nails.
