⚠Warning: Slight Violence*

I see Shoto siting in one of the bar stools and approach him. "You missed him." I say sitting next to him. "He did come just like you said."
"I told you." He says proudly but he glances at me and his tone becomes concerned, "Why do you look upset? Did he do something to you? Did he confirm he was a villain?"
I shook my head, "No, nothing like that. He was nice. But I had the impression it would be the last time I'd see him and that well... it's nothing. Yeah. Nothing. Never mind."
Shoto stayed quiet for a bit as if figuring out what to ask me. "Did you fall in love with him?" Shoto's question took me off guard.
"No, that's not it." I calmly replied; truth is I don't know that myself, I never grew up with love... I have no idea what it feels like to love someone else.
"Not it? Where have I heard that before? (Y/N) the way you're phrasing it makes it seem like there is something to it. If you didn't fall for him then what has you upset?"
"He seemed different from the people my father has me meeting all the time. And then the sad look in his eyes... his scars too. It got me thinking..." I spoke rather concerned, "Shoto what if he had a rough childhood? What if he's in some sort of pain?"
"(Y/N)." he says putting a hand on my shoulder, "Speaking from experience, he might carry a burden. Will he tell you? Who knows... remember it wasn't easy for me to tell you what happened with my scar. Maybe it's the same for him. But it's like you've told me many times, that those with scars are proof that we survived something difficult."
I nodded. "You're right but I just wish I could help him..."
"If you want to know more about him, next time you see him just be you. The reason I was able to tell you was because of how understanding you were, you also didn't pressure me no matter how worried you looked."
I raise my hand towards his scar and ran my thumb over it. "Shoto you always know what to say."
"I try (Y/N)." he replies as he ruffles my hair.

Shoto's POVI'm worried about (Y/N), since meeting that guy she's been worried. More than usual. I can see she's concerned about him but I'm afraid. (Y/N) is like family to me. What if he turns out to be a villain and hurts her?
I can't always be there to protect her. That's why I'm trying to meet this Dabi person to see for myself what kind of a person he is. But it seems like that will not be happening anytime soon.
"Come on Shoto, I'll teleport us home." (Y/N) says breaking me out of my concerns.
I nod, "Alright but make sure you actually teleport home and not somewhere else."
"Gee Sho, I learned my lesson!" she makes a silly pout. "I'm hungry, why don't we go stop and eat somewhere? Come on dude! It'll be fun!"
"It's late (Y/N) I doubt any place is open at this hour." I tell her.
"Yes there is! And lucky for you they have cold soba." She sings as she lightly elbows my arm.
"Cold soba?" If I'm honest I am a bit hungry. She did this on purpose knowing I can't refuse. "Fine." I reluctantly breathe out, "Only because it's soba."
"Hey! Just cuz it's soba? No Shoto, you got it all wrong you're suppose to say 'yeah sounds fun, I'll go only because you're amazing and considerate (Y/N) and I adore you and your lovey company'."
