The next day, I woke up exhausted. I walked passed the living room which was now fixed as if nothing had happened. My father stood in front of the door, blocking my exit.

"Move." I hissed.

"(Y/N), I—"

"I don't forgive you. Not now or ever."

"I didn't intend on apologizing. I'm here to personally inform you, that after you come back from your school trip, you are officially out of UA. I am pulling you out of that school."

"Why?!" I shouted vexed, "It's bad enough what happened yesterday, now... this?!"

"You lost your chance. Just letting you know you best not speak of what happened or else."

"Or else what? You never say what!"

"You're better not knowing. Just know Leonard is going to accompany you as I send you to Europe to finish your hero training."

"I'm not going to marry him. I love someone else." I spat aggressively.

"I don't care."

"Right, I forgot who I was talking to. You hated mom not loved her."

I was close to exiting the door but his words stopped me. "I didn't... always hate her."

My mind stopped working. "What?"

"She made me hate her, when she wouldn't support my ideals. With our line of work, a career like hers didn't mix well with mine. She made the mistake to go behind my back. Taking you was a mistake I will never forgive, luckily I got you back. You're the heiress to my work, my masterpiece..."

"I didn't ask to be your masterpiece."

"No one asked to be part of this, but we are. It's inevitable." He spoke with a melancholic tone.

I scoffed and shut the door behind me. I couldn't believe what I heard. She... did come back for me once? But... failed? And work not mixing well? I sighed as I got inside the car. This was too much for me to take. Not to mention I wasn't feeling good.

(F/N)'s POV

As I see (Y/N) leave out the door, I can't bring myself to tell her the truth. Truth is, I made her mother leave, for many reasons. I loved her... so much but her betrayal broke me.

When we met, I was barely training to become a hero. I met her at a diner where I heard her sing for the first time. I fell for her, yet not even knowing she was my future wife-to-be.

Despite, being arranged to marry –a quirk marriage to be precise, we loved each other greatly. We had a lovely marriage, at least until I had a talk with my father...

"You need to restrain that wife of yours. She cannot sing anymore or even play that instrument! Anymore attention from the media and it will ruin our reputation, we will drag unwanted attention. People will know what we really do, we might be heroes but you know the family business we do must continue."

"I don't agree father. I want to be a hero and only that! And let (M/N) live her dream."

"Don't be stupid. If it hadn't been for our ancestors we wouldn't even be living like this in luxury, and have a high reputation as heroes. Do as I say, forbid her to sing or else I'll make her. And you know I don't have much tolerance for stubbornness."

"Yes. Father." I nodded reluctantly.

"I'm doing this for your own good. It's the life you must live, a perfect life in the eyes of society."
