Shoto's POV

I know her. She may say she will not run away but I have doubts. She's a stubborn girl. She's suffering and saying it's worth it as long as she gets to her goal, but even so pain, resentment, it can blind a person's logic.

Right now she's not thinking clearly. She's engulfed in so much agony, so much she hasn't even realized it. It's like she's wanting to deal with this all by herself despite knowing she has us wanting to help her.

She's like an alcoholic who knows drinking isn't helping her but at the same time doesn't want to give it up or have anyone interfere. All that I've concluded is that we have to watch over her, for now at least.

I sighed and took out my phone. Dabi and I exchanged numbers the last time we spoke about (Y/N). I didn't think I'd message him someday but here I am. He has to know. If I couldn't be the one to convince her... maybe he can. Maybe he can be the one to help her.

Shoto: Dabi, have you talked to (Y/N)
 recently or seen her today?

Dabi: Just messaged, we're meeting later today.
She said something about not having bodyguards
anymore and her quirk was back to normal.
Why...? Did something happen?

Shoto: She's not okay.
 He somewhat hit her.

Dabi: What?!
That bastard!
Is she okay???
Where is she???

Shoto: (Y/N) says it was 'indirectly',
the furniture piece fell on her
and she came to school bruised and covered in cuts,
as well as with a black eye.

Dabi: That's it, I'm kicking his ass.

Shoto: Before you do that listen,
I'm telling you this
 because she said something...

Dabi: Please don't tell me
she's considering in ending everything.

Shoto: No, thankfully no.
But she wants to run away.

Dabi: Again?

Shoto: She said she wouldn't but,
I'm concerned she might do something else.
Dabi, there's so much happening to her
right now that changed her thought process.

Dabi: Which are?
Just get to the point will ya?

Shoto: You should know when
you see her later,
just know that you have to
 drill some sense into her.

Dabi: Have you met her?
 She's stubborn as hell.
But I'll try.

Shoto: I don't want her ending up
dead like my older brother did.
Tell her she doesn't have to be afraid,
that we can help her.
She's not thinking clearly.
She needs help and needs to except it

There was a couple minutes before I received a response back from Dabi.

Dabi: I will.
 Don't worry
and thanks for letting me know.

I sighed as I placed my phone down. I really hoped Dabi convinces her to accept our help; to not give up. I don't know what I'd do without (Y/N)... I don't want her to end up like Touya.

Seeing (Y/N) like this reminds me more and more of him. If I couldn't help Touya back then, I'd like to help (Y/N), I want her to have a different fate from my brother.

~~(Y/N)'s POV
[Later that night]

Dabi's eyes widened as he saw me. He rushed towards me. His expression was in between shock, sadness, and anger.
