A couple days later it was time to test our quirks against each other. We were divided into groups of two and as my stupid luck would have it, I got paired with the most aggressive guy in the class, whose also the guy who somewhat hates me. Bakugou Katsuki.

I was not looking forward to it. Only recently had I found out more about my second quirk. As far as I knew it was some sort of energetic destructive laser beam or something. But I didn't know how to control it, since my dad doesn't like me training that specific quirk.

Reason for that it's because it's my mother's quirk. All he's told me about it is that I need precision and focus to shoot it out but that's like telling a little kid to stand up and walk without knowing what walking is.

Flashback~~

Well it just so happened that two days ago I was sitting in class bored out of my mind. Aizawa-sensei was sleeping as usual. Everyone was in their own world talking. I didn't take any part of it because I was pretending to study. When actually I was planning what song to sing later tonight.

I don't know what happened, I started getting angry. Maybe perhaps because I overheard someone say how they felt very happy with their quirk. I immediately thought of my own quirks and the man forcing me to become a hero.

"A hero, he doesn't even understand the word of it! He cares about the fame and money. He likes being acknowledged by how strong and powerful he is. He thinks it's all about being the best. He doesn't know what being a hero means!" I mused, "I hate him... for making me do this. He won't tell me about my other quirk... I. Hate. Him."

My hands let out a spark from my hands, thus destroying the thick book in front of me into a pile of shredded and slightly burnt pieces of paper. What the hell happened? I began to panic. At this everyone turned towards me. Even Aizawa-sensei woke up.

"Look guys it's her second quirk! She finally used it!" I heard Mina gasp.

"(Y/N)! That's so cool!" Kaminari exclaimed.

"It's some sort of destructive energy quirk..." Midoriya began to mumble.

"(Y/N), are you okay?" Shoto said running towards me in panic.

I couldn't reply. I simply remained staring at my hands as everyone glanced at me. Their voices drifting farther away.

"(Y/N)." Aizawa addressed me. I was finally snapped out of my daze as I heard sensei's voice, "Care to explain what happened?" he asked.

I bit my lip nervously, "I don't... know. It just happened. I swear! I didn't use it on purpose. Please forgive me everyone." I stood up rapidly and bowed, "Pardon me if I frightened anyone."

"Hah?" I heard Bakugou scoff, "You dumbass, that didn't scare anyone. It's lame."

"Kacchan, don't be so mean!"

I bit my tongue in hope of not talking back to him. I had to remain calm.

"(Y/N)." Aizawa called, "Stay after class."

That's all he said but it was enough for me to know we were going to have a long conversation.

*Time Skip*

Aizawa-sensei had me sit down across from him. He had his usual weary expression, but there was a bit of concern hidden within those tiresome eyes. "(Y/N), mind telling me what happened now? I know it's not an easy subject for you but as your teacher it's my job to help you. I know you've been having hesitation with using your second quirk it was registered as Energetic Waves correct? Why use it so sudden and in class?"
