Messed Up

We all went home after the incident that happened to Jade. Jade is peacefully sleeping in the backseat after being exhausted because of crying too much. "Jake really is an asshole," Nica whispered. 

I let out a sigh as I softly nodded. "He is. After rejecting Jade so many times already before, here he is again, trying to get back with her. Hindi mo na lang talaga siya maiintindihan kung bakit ba ganyan siya magdesisyon."

"Jade doesn't deserve this," sagot ni Nica. "I just hope that someday, she will have someone who loves her the way she loves them back," Nica said, disappointment visible in her voice.

Hinatid ko sina Nica at Jade sa kani-kanilang condo. I immediately went home after that. 

The next day is a pretty busy day for me. I decided that I'll go to the doctor to get my tests done. It took me more than an hour to complete my agenda for the day. Nang dumating ang tanghalian ay saktong nasa labas pa ako kaya kumain na rin ako sa isang fastfood restaurant. While eating my lunch, I suddenly felt my phone vibrate. Binuksan ko iyon at nakita ang notification galing sa group chat namin nina Jade at Nica.

Jade: heyy do u want to go with me in a bar tonight??

Nica: bar? r u sure abt that? we have work tomorrow.

Jade: yeah. idc i wanna get wasted tonight

Maia: count me in.

Jade: YESS!! thanks, maiaa

Nica: ugh, fine i'm also coming.

I softly laughed when I saw Nica's forced reply. I just know that she doesn't want to go to any bars at the moment. But, because it's Jade, and Nica is just too considerate, she will for sure come with us. Lalo na't sa sitwasyon ngayon ni Jade ay hindi-hindi 'yan iiwan ni Nica.

Hours passed until it was already six in the evening. We all decided to meet at the entrance of the bar. Nakasabay ko pa si Jade na pinaparada rin ang kaniyang sasakyan sa tabi ng akin. "Maia!" she shouted from afar when she saw me stepped out of my car. I gave her a small smile as I waved my hand at her.

Para itong batang sinarado ang pintuan ng kaniyang kotse at agad tumakbo palapit sa akin. "You look stunning!" she exclaimed. Hinawakan pa niya ako sa magkabilang gilid ng aking braso habang gumagapang ang kaniyang tingin mula sa aking ulo pababa sa paa.

I'm just wearing a simple black one-shoulder dress with a cutout at the waist. I paired it with my black sandal heels with straps and also slightly curled my orange hair.

Nginitian ko si Jade at tinignan din ang kaniyang suot. She's wearing a white sleeveless crop top, paired with tight black pants. Nang bumaba ang aking tingin sa kaniyang puting sapatos ay gamit-gamit niya na pala ang binili nila ni Hugh kahapon. May mga disenyo itong kulay itim na bumabagay sa kulay ng kaniyang damit. Her dark wavy hair was tied up in a high ponytail.

"Masyado kang nag-effort sa suot mo, Maia. Di ka nang-inform, sana naghanda rin ako," pang-aasar nito sabay irap sa akin. I laughed at her remarks and faced the door of my car.

Nang maisarado ko na nang maayos ang aking kotse ay dumiretso na kami sa entrance ng bar. While walking towards the entrance, we can already see Nica standing alone, just a few meters away from the entrance.

Nang makalapit ay agad itong binigyan ng mahigpit na yakap ni Jade. "Y'all made me wait. I was afraid that you ditched me," bati ni Nica sabay yakap pabalik kay Jade.

"Sorry! Nagkasabay kasi kami ni Maia sa parking lot. Did you bring your car? Hindi ko nakitang naka-park doon," sagot ni Jade sabay turo sa banda kung saan namin pinark ang kotse naming dalawa.
