Apology

I leaned on the back of the couch as I looked at Kaylee and Jade walked away from us. They were already bored of playing the game after a few more spins, so they decided to leave. Umalis na rin si Hugh at may aasikasuhin pa raw siyang ibang mga bisita.

My eyes wandered around the whole room as I tried to avoid from looking at Andre's direction.

So, he's still single, huh? Or did he just say thay because Chelsea was the one asking? Maybe he found Chelsea attractive or hot. He likes those kind of women. A carefree and hot-looking woman in an ordinary day and a seductress one in bed.

I turned to my side and saw Nica already sleeping soundly on the couch. She's always like this whenever she gets drunk. Antok na antok o di kaya ay diretsong tulog. I don't know if I'll he able to take the two of them home tonight. Bahala na.

Nanatili lamang akong nakaupo sa couch habang pinapanood ang mga taong sumasayaw sa gitna ng kuwarto. Almost all of them were already wasted. Some were making out with another one. A lot of them were already tipsy and will almost fall onto the floor any second now.

I crossed my arms on top of my chest as my eyes landed on two women dancing on the middle of the room. They were grinding onto each other, dancing with the upbeat music. Kaylee was carrying a whole bottle of champagne while her hands were raised up to the air. Meanwhile, Jade was holding a glass of alcohol, while straightly drinking from it.

I shook my head to the side as I noticed the two of them suddenly bumped into each other. Nagsitawanan pa ang dalawa kasabay ng muling paglagay ni Kaylee ng alak sa baso ni Jade. After pouring drink in fresh champagne in Jade's glass, Kaylee drank straight from the bottle of champagne.

Muli kong iniwas ang aking tingin sa dalawa. My eyes landed on the couch where Andre was seated earlier. My eyebrows lightly raised when I saw no one sitting on the couch anymore. He left already? I guess, he got bored too. Wala na rin siyang nakakausap dito dahil umalis na rin si Hugh papunta sa iba pa niyang bisita.

I closed my eyes as I leaned my head at the back of the couch. I let out a deep sigh as I lightly bit my lower lip. I was not expecting to see him here at all. I thought that they already lost connection when Kurt did that in the past. But, I guess, Hugh and Andre are still friends since Hugh was the one who defended Andre from Kurt's wrong actions.

Nakakapagtaka lamang dahil pati si Jaydee ay nahiwalay na rin. I don't know why. But, when Nica lost connection with Jaydee, everyone apparently lost connection with him too. It was like he disappeared into thin air like nothing happened.

Kumunot ang aking noo nang biglaang makarinig ng malakas na hiyawan na nagmumula sa gitna ng kuwarto. I opened my eyes as I immediately looked at the dance floor. Nanlaki ang aking mga mata nang makita si Jade na nag-pass out na.

Agad akong napabalikwas ng tayo kasabay ng pagtakbo ko papunta rito. Thankfully, someone catched her bago pa ito bumagsak sa sahig.

Nang makalapit sa kanila ay nadatnan ko si Kaylee na nakaupo na sa sahig habang hawak-hawak ang bote ng alak kasama ang basong kaninang hawak ni Jade. "She passed out already?!" reklamo nito. "Jade passed out! Someone help us!" sigaw nito habang palinga-linga sa paligid. Halata sa boses nito ang pag-aalala pati na rin ang takot. I looked at her and saw tears on the side of her eyes.

I shook my head to the side. It's not like this is not normal when someone drinks too much. Masyado na rin atang lasing si Kaylee.

Agad akong lumapit kay Jade at agad itong hinawakan sa kamay. "Hey, Jade," bulong ko dito sabay tapik sa kaniyang pisngi. Hindi na ito gumalaw pang ulit. I let out a sigh as I tried to pull her on the hands. "Thank you for catching her. I can take it here, I'll place her back on the couch," sabi ko sa taong nakasalo rito at tinuro ang couch namin kung saan nag-iisang natutulog si Nica.
