Zack (1st person)

Since the dance was formal, my mom forced me to wear a tuxedo. I didn't want to, since it was just a middle school dance. When I got there, I found that most of the boys were wearing tuxedos, and the girls had dresses. I was about to look for my friends, but Lauren came over and pulled me aside. "Hey, Zack... I was going to Joy's house to convince her to delete the pictures of you. I rode my bike there and put it outside, and you found it and took it home. Sorry, I should've explained that to you sooner, but I was tired. I just..." she said. It took me a minute to process what she had said. "Wait, what?" I said. "I was riding my bike, I left it for a minute, and you found it and took it home. I didn't have anyway to get home, so it took me a while to walk," she said. "Oh, oh... Lauren, I'm sorry..." I said. "Yeah..." she said. She didn't seem to forgive me. "Um... Did you get your bike back?" I asked. "Yes," she said. I wasn't sure what to do. "It's okay, Zack, don't worry about it," she said. "Alright..." I said. We found my friends, and we just hung out for a while. I noticed that Pico and Lila had disappeared. There was a large crowd near the center of the room, but I didn't want to get involved.

Lauren (1st person)

I didn't forgive Zack immediately. I know he was just trying to help, but still. I explained everything to him, and he seemed apologetic. I told him it was fine because I just wanted him to be happy. We found our friends, but Pico and Lila disappeared. There was a crowd in the center of the room, but I ignored it. Phred disappeared as well. The time went by quickly, and the slow dance was starting. I was wondering where our friends were, but I figured I'd go with Zack first, since he asked me a while ago. Of course, Phil and Smiley were going together. Zack didn't seem to know what he was doing. I didn't either, but I learned by watching the other people around us. Zack copied what I was doing, and that seemed to work. It was nice. I know I can't blame my period for everything, but I wasn't very energetic. I didn't want Zack to think I was bored with him or anything. Once we had finished, I bent down and gently kissed the side of his face. He blushed and avoided eye contact with me. "Oh, wait, I got something for you..." he said. He had gotten me chocolate, which made me much happier. Me and him just ate and talked for the rest of the time, but that's not a bad thing.

Phil (1st person)

Me and Smiley met each other when the dance started. Smiley seemed extremely excited to see me, which is good. I had gotten her flowers because I figured that was romantic. She thanked me multiple times, so that's good. My plan was to stay there with her until the slow dance ended, then I'd take her outside and kiss her. I also wanted to make sure nothing got between us. That's wasn't that hard, since Lila, Pico, and Phred all went somewhere. I'm not sure where they went or what they were doing, but I didn't worry about it. I repeatedly complemented Smiley, and she did the same. The time between arrival and the slow dance felt like a millennium. It finally happened, and me and her were both pretty decent. The second it ended, I grabbed her arm and led her out. "Where are we going?" She asked. "You'll see," I said. I led her to the park and into a small shaded area. It had a nice view, but I made sure it wasn't near any water. We sat on a small bench, and we both leaned against each other. Smiley looked up at me, and I looked down at her.

Smiley (1st person)

I looked up at Phil, and he looked down at me. I wasn't sure why we were out here. I put my hands around his shoulders and pulled him towards me. I kissed him. On his lips. At first, he froze, but then he kissed me back. It lasted around ten seconds. Once we finished, we hugged each other tightly. I wasn't sure why I kissed him, and I wasn't fully aware I was doing it. Once we finished hugging, we just stared into each other's eyes. "Smiley, I love you..." Phil said. "...I love you too, Phil," I said. I was expecting Joy to teleport behind us, but she didn't. No one bothered us. No one knew we were here. Nothing bad happened to me, nothing bad happened to Phil. We just enjoyed each other's company for a while.
