Narrator's pov

Her parents couldn't move, they stood frozen at the podium after receiving the news of what Ember had been doing under their noses
They had two choices, cancel everything right then and there, sending the crowd of people into a spiral, resulting in backlash, headlines from the press, articles and a deep loss in patients. Their whole legacy would go down
Or they could agree and stay quiet, whichever will they choose?
"We would like to thank Ember Atkins for pulling off an incredible event" her father started off as he muttered into the microphone
A few reporters shouted questions for the Atkins
"Mr Atkins, how does it feel to have the entire city behind your back and the support you've seen tonight?"
"It... Feels..."
"Overwhelming, he feels overwhelmed about the. Love. Being. Received" Her mother said as she glanced over to Ember
The brown hair girl simply grinned and waved at the crowd, awaiting her next surprise
"When did you come up with such a big plan" A reporter asked
"Well you see. We've always felt as though there wasn't enough being done. Public hospitals only have a certain amount of services offered and many private hospitals operate for profit. We at Atkins hospital took a step back saw it so differently. Everyone deserves to be treated fairly" Her father answered
"Good answer" Ember whispered before chuckling
He always had such a way with words and holding his composure in stressful situations, she could only imagine the earful she'll hear when she gets home
A car started to approach the street again, cameras turned and started flashing at them
"What is this" Her father hissed
"That's my other surprise" Ember grinned
"Ember stop this foolishness!"
"Oh this has nothing to do with you" she said before pushing her parents aside, leaning over the microphone
"If I can please have everyone's attention, I have one more surprise in store for someone" Ember said
As the car came to a stop, Fallon popped out quickly, flicking the girl a smile and a thumbs up
He pulled open the door to reveal a short hair blonde who had a blindfold around her eyes and a headphones attached to her ear
"Fallon, where have you kidnapped and brought me" Gabrielle groaned
Fallon held the girl's hand as he started to guide her up the steps. A few people emerged from the car behind the two teenagers which only sent the crowd in another spiral
Gabrielle wasn't aware of anything that was going on, the headphones had blocked out every sound and the blindfold was tied so tightly around her face. The last thing she knew was being at home and Fallon asking her to play a game, the next thing she knew was being in a moving car
Hell, she wasn't even aware that there were people in the car with her
Ember grinned at the few people that came out the car as she motioned for them to join her at the podium
Poor Gabrielle was still dressed in her pajamas as Fallon slowly led her up the stairs, making sure she took her time, simply confusing her even more
