The park was the sanctuary of Gabrielle' soul during challenging days.

The comfort of the black bench, warm from the steady sun, was a place to absorb the beauty of the park, the beauty of a joyful community at play

The trees that root so deep and reached so high, that took in the rain and brought the gifts of verdant foliage upon brown wands - they were her friends, her anchors in emotional waters. They were the park. They were the beauty. They were what brought serene reverence when she had the need

Gabrielle loved the park with all of her heart, she'd walk through the green filled heaven everyday when she was younger, it seemed to be the only place that brought a smile on her lips

Home was never happy, even if it was by herself

There were so many things in her life that could make her cry but she chose to smile each and every single day

All because she knew she was falling her passion, her love, her desire to sing

Even if some people hated it, she loved it and that was all that mattered

But now, she had something else to smile about

And that was the breathtaking brunette walking her way

Ember's brown hair was tied into a high pony while her bandana wrapped around her head and flowed back. Her black choker pressed tightly around her neck that held fading teeth marks by the one and guilty only Gabrielle

"I swear to God if I have to buy another hotdog for $5 just to satisfy Fallon, I will RUN crazy" Ember hissed as she approached the blonde

"But Fallon isn't here-"

"He made me send it with an uber" She glared

Gabrielle clasped a hand over her mouth as she tried to contain her small giggles

"For one hot dog?"

"Next I'll have to pay someone to take it out the car and bring it to his room" She rolled her eyes, plopping a seat right next to the blonde

"Why do you put up with this?" Gabrielle giggled

"He says he's the one that brought happiness into my life and I should thank him with treats"

"Is that what it's like to have a bestfriend?" Gabrielle giggled

"Oh, that and much much more" Ember scoffed

"What's the happiness he brought you?" the singer questioned

the brunette furrowed her brows, the strong demeanour dropped instantly as she slowly turned to face Gabrielle

her eyes then scanned over her starting with the blonde locks that rested to the side of her face. her fingers reached up to move a section behind her ear. Gabrielle's small giggle fell through as Ember's eyes dropped to her smile

"He brought me to you" She whispered

That familiar stain pulled its way onto Gabrielle's cheek while her face went flushed looking away

Ember chuckled gently as her eyes met the girl's

"You're so cute" She muttered, which just made matters even worse

Gabrielle's pink face turned red instantly

"I love it when you blush" Ember chuckled

"Shut up"
