"Our attack on Thaymor will be launched tomorrow. Force Captain Adora, recruit your leading fighters. I'll come in an hour or so." Shadow Weaver said, walking away from me and the others. "Oh Adora," Catra started, causing me to turn my head, "please recruit me!" Her sarcastic tone and fake pleading caused me to burst out in laughter. "Alright, Force Captain Adora. Choose your recruits!" Lonnie said, clapping her hands. She smiled as I hummed, "Right. I planned it yesterday, so uh— Catra, Lonnie, Kyle, Rogelio and Scorpia." Catra put her hands on her hips, "Who the hell is Scorpia?" I grit my teeth, "Uh- she's a force captain. I don't know her well but I know she's extremely strong. I think." Catra laughed. She always laughed when I said 'I think' after making a decision. Why? I don't know. "Ok, now that we're ready..what do we do? We do have an hour." Lonnie said, walking towards me. Catra stepped in front of me, blocking me from Lonnie, "Me and Adora have a game to play. It's our own game. Two players." I lifted my finger up, slightly whispering, "Uh- Catra..isn't it a game that you can play with 5 peop-" Catra hissed, interrupting me. "No, it is not."

"Ok, geez Catra." Lonnie said, lifting her hands and backing away. I put my hand on Catra's shoulder, causing her to relax her ears and tail, "..fine." Catra whispered. "What was that?" Lonnie said, smirking. "Fine! You guys can join us." Catra yelled this time, shocking Lonnie, Kyle and Rogelio. Kyle raised a finger, signaling that he had a question, "What is this game?"

"Don't worry, Kyle. You won't get hurt. This time." I said, my tail moving behind me. Laughter burst out from Rogelio and Adora, while Lonnie kept staring at me, "Would you like to explain this game.. 𝐶𝑎𝑡𝑟𝑎?" She said my name in a way that sent shudders through my body. It was how Shadow Weaver says it. When Shadow says it, it's not as bad. I always think of her having stupid nicknames like Buttface to distract me, but I can't do that if someone else says it. "Of course, 𝐿𝑜𝑛𝑛𝑖𝑒." I replied. Me and Lonnie shared one thing in common. Er- two things. One, having Adora as a friend. Two, our hatred for Shadow Weaver. "Now, the game. As you so kindly asked." I said, walking closer to Lonnie. "Uh— Catra? Wha- what's happening? Are youuu- uh- explaining it or- is something else happening-?" Adora said, extremely confused. As were Kyle and Rogelio. I responded, my eye contact not leaving Lonnie's, "Oh, I'm fine. Me and 𝐿𝑜𝑛𝑛𝑖𝑒 were just having a discussion." Lonnie closed her fists, "Yeah, 𝐶𝑎𝑡-"

"Excuse me? Is Adora here? Force Captain Adora?" Some sort of scorpion girl entered the room. I let out a deep breath of relief, as did Lonnie. As much as I'd hate to admit it, as obvious as it is, the conversation was stressful. "Uh- um..Scorpia?" Adora said, lifting finger guns. Scorpia smiled, "Yeah. Uh- I just wanted to say thank you for hiring me. I promise I won't let you down." This girl was getting on my nerves and I just met her. Out of pure anger I spoke, "Ok, Scorpion Lady. You're disturbing something."

"I am?" Scorpia said.
"She is?" Adora commented.
"She is." Lonnie added.

"Ok- uhm. I see this was a bad moment. Uh- Adora, I'll catch you around? Bye!" Scorpion ran out. Yes, I meant Scorpion. Or would Red be a better name? I'll stick with Red, it's shorter. It also has a really nice ring to it, not gonna lie—

"Catra? Lonnie. Mind telling us what that was about?" Adora said, hands on her hips. "Yeah!" Kyle added as Rogelio growled some agreeing nonsense. "No. Maybe 𝐿𝑜- she would like to tell you." I whispered. I hated Lonnie, but there's always a point. That point is what we both stand by. Never go too far. At least, I assume we both stand by it. I'm talking nonsense at this point. Lonnie whispered, quieter than I did, "I wouldn't." A smile escaped my mouth, but I quickly covered it. "The game," I started, "Uh basically you..."

"You're a surprisingly..decent, explainer. Catra." Lonnie said as Adora pulled out the board for Attack Bots. That was their name for..Ludo. "Adora, have you elected your-" Shadow Weaver said, bursting in the room. Adora threw the board game back in as everyone stood upright but Catra. "Oh. 𝐶𝑎𝑡𝑟𝑎. How pleasant to see you standing with an arched back. Stand straight and stop acting like a disgraceful— stand properly." As Catra said before, Lonnie and Catra stand by a point. The name is good in an argument. It can make the other feel weakened, but it works on both of them. Now, that point, goes to saying the name twice. Neither of them say the name 3 times, it's an unspoken rule. The name was mentioned twice, well almost twice by both of them. Now, Shadow Weaver said it thrice. Catra inhaled deeply and slightly shaked. She didn't get time to think of nicknames like Uglyass before Shadow said her name. Catra sprinted out on fours. Lonnie's fists closed, "Shadow Weaver. That was too much." Lonnie ran out after Catra. Adora frowned, "Why'd you do that, Shadow Weaver?" She ran after both of them.

I entered my room shakily, shudders going through my back. As I ran to the bed, tiny flashbacks played in my mind.

"𝐶𝑎𝑡𝑟𝑎"
"You're a disgrace."
"Get out!"

I jumped on my bed as I got a major flashback to when I was 7.

"Yeah, yeah..tag!" I said, running through the halls. Adora followed me, giggles lifting. I ran around and eventually lost Adora. "Ha, one win for me." I whispered to myself, looking behind me. I turned forward and saw Shadow's open door. I was too curious at the time. I thought her shouting at me was for my constructive criticism or something. I thought of Shadow as a role model. I entered the room.

She was doing some sort of potion. She hummed lightly, "Hmmmm.." I tip toed closer to her. "𝐶𝑎𝑡𝑟𝑎, get out." She said turning her head. "But- um- Shadow Weaver-" "NOW!" She yelled louder than imaginable. She used her magic and threw me out of her room. Electric sparks came from my body as her room door closed. "Ha! I got you noowww- ..what happened?" Adora said, running out of the hallway. "It's fine." I muttered, running away from Shadow's room.

My flashback ended and my eyes widened to seeing Adora hugging me. Lonnie stood at the door of my room, waiting for me to be alright. "I'm fine.. I'm fine." I whispered, making Adora smile. Adora helped me up as we all got ready to play the best game... Attack Bots. Rogelio and Kyle already got the game ready, but Rogelio bent the board slightly. "Rogelio!" Lonnie yelled, laughing, fixing the board. Me and Adora sat around the board, as did everyone else. I held her hand behind our backs as we all started playing.

"What do you mean we're down a Force Captain?!" I exclaimed to Hordak. "He ran into battle and got himself killed. I have elected another Force Captain, and you will deliver them to me." Hordak responded, his voice blending with the shadows. "This..this could happen with anyone, correct? Including Adora? Getting killed?" I said, shivers down my spine. Micah had failed to make me extremely powerful, as amazing as he was, and Adora was my last hope. She couldn't get killed. I wouldn't let it. "Yes, Shadow Weaver. Now, go get Catra."

"My lord-"

"NOW!"
