Adora POV

Next Morning...

"What- what happened..?" I said, waking up. Bow and Glimmer slept on the floor, well I slept on an overly fluffed bed.
Bow and Glimmer woke up while Bow spoke, "Good morning, sleepyhead!"
"Ugh- why am I here?" I whispered, looking at my surroundings. I was in Bright Moon.
Glimmer looked at Bow, "You passed out midway through the Whispering Woods. We got a doctor and he said you had a severe lack of water, so he put some water into you."
"Oh." I whispered, the memories of Catra coming back to me.
"What happened?" Glimmer asked. My head turned to hers, questioning what she was asking.
Bow read my face and spoke, "You left the Horde crying, and then passed out midway."
I looked at Bow incredulously as Glimmer spoke, "Are you ok?" I smiled at her, nodding. She smiled back, then realized what she said. "Well, I don't care!" She said, crossing her arms and acting tough, "Horde Scum." I laughed lightly, and Bow joined me.

Glimmer POV
Bow and Adora's laughing made me groan in annoyance. I teleported out of the room, and to my bathroom.

I walked towards my sink. I had been learning some sorcery in Mystacor, but I haven't practiced for the last year. My hands trembled, attempting to make the toothbrush fly up.

"Come on," I whispered, my eyes glowing. The toothbrush merely shook when my hands stopped in lack of energy. I groaned at myself and picked the toothbrush up. Dad was an amazing sorcerer, according to literally everyone. I wouldn't know, he died when I was barely a kid. I'm not even half as good as him.

My eyes shut as I reached for the toothpaste labeled, "Sparkly Teeth!" I squirted some of the pink gooze out, placing it on the toothbrush. I put it down, then lifted the toothbrush to my teeth. I don't remember a lot of things about my father, but there's one thing I remember. As a kid, I'd always brush my teeth for not enough time. So, my mom found out a way to help me learn how long. She sang a song that my father was sang to as a kid:

'Brush your teeth, Glimmer! My gorgeous daughter! Brush your teeth, count to three, make them shine with glee! (Smile!) Brush them hard and brush them strong, brush them very nicely! Count till 10 and then you move, 1 2 3 4 5 6 7, 8, 9, 10! Now you move to the back, of each set of teeth! Brush them strong and brush them nice!—'

You know what, it's embarrassing. Never mind. The point is, I use that song to know how long to brush my teeth. I hummed to myself quietly, "Now, go to the tongue, brush very thoroughly."

"Glimmerrrr?" Bow yelled, knocking at my bathroom. I flinched at his yell, but quickly continued.
"Gosh- it's bright outside. THE CRYSTAL'S REFLECTING IT INTO MY EYE!" Adora yelled loudly. I spit out some toothpaste in laughter, and continued brushing my teeth.
"Glimmer! I heard you!" Bow exclaimed again.
I spit out the toothpaste and rinsed my mouth. I teleported into my room, as Adora blindly punched the air. "Uh, what's she doing?" I asked, pointing to Adora.
"Her eyes hurt because of the sun, and now she's attempting to..attack the crystal?" Bow said, confused.
I laughed lightly, as Adora blinked. "Oh." She whispered, "I'm not blind."
Bow chuckled as he spoke, "Anyways, Adora, Glimmer c'mere!" He took his tracker pad out, as we both went towards him. "After the Salineas attack, I souped my tracker pad up to tell when The Horde's coming..and..they're coming."
"What?! Where?" Adora yelled.
"Bright Moon."
"Bright Moon's way out of their league, why are they trying?" I whispered.
"Because of me." Adora said, guilt overwhelming her.
Me and Bow didn't know what to say, and in an attempt to comfort her we hugged her.

One hour later..

Angella POV
"They're coming soon!" Bow said, biting his nails.
"We've doubled our forces, covered our weak points and borrowed some of Entrapta's bots from the Battle of Salineas. Bow has also been of significant help in working with Entrapta to create extremely strong bots who will not be killed with the beam of a Horde ship." I smiled.
"Maybe I can help?" Glimmer eagerly asked.
"You know my answer is no, Glimmer." I said.
"What about with She-Ra?" Glimmer asked.
"Glimmer, slight problem," Adora loudly whispered, "I have no idea how to control my powers."
"Very well, If Adora learns how to control her powers, you may join the Battle." I said, doubting Adora would learn anything by the time the Horde attacks. Well, you can't underestimate these kids.

"Yes! Thank you, mom!" Glimmer said, teleporting her and her friends out of the war room. Just like her father, eager.

Adora POV

We teleported into the pink room, my eyes adjusting to the brightness. Teleporting was new, but in all honesty, it's kinda fun. "Glimmer, I can't do this!" I yelled, my hands on my face.
"Yes, you can!" Glimmer smiled. I gave her a still face, making her feel a bit nervous, "C'mon, let's practice!" I looked around the room, filled with crystals, waterfalls, shelves and more.
"It's, you know, kind of crowded here?" I whispered.
"Ugh!" Glimmer yelled, teleporting me and Bow outside, "Better?"
"Yes." I whispered, taking my sword out. "Why do you trust me, Glimmer? To do all this. How do you know I won't betray you?" I looked at her and repeated, "Why do you trust me?"
"I don't." She said, sighing, "You're my last hope. You're the only way I'll fight. You're the only way I can prove myself to my mom. I'll prove I'm as good as her... and my dad. Silence overtook the three of us, but Glimmer quickly spoke, "Anddd you have no way to escape." She smirked. I smiled back, knowing she trusts me at least a bit.
"Glimmah!" We heard Angella yell.
Glimmer groaned, "Ugh, be right back." She teleported away as me and Bow stayed there.
"C'mon Adora, you can do it!" He yelled, failing to encourage me.
I sighed, grabbing the sword, "For the Honor of Grayskull." I whispered.

Nothing happened.

"Uh- is something supposed to happen?" I asked Bow.
"Dunno, gonna be honest, I've never trained She-Ra." Bow said, laughing.
My eyes closed. I thought of the Horde, the devastation I felt when I realized we were evil. I thought of my encounter with Catra. My eyes opened for a second, my pupils facing the scratch on my arm. I closed my eyes once again, I couldn't let the Horde hurt anymore people. "For the Honor of Grayskull!" I yelled. Nothing happened.

"Uh, nice try?" Bow whispered.

"Back!" Glimmer yelled, teleporting in with her eyes closed. "What did I missss.." she said as she opened her eyes, "YOU'RE NOT SHERA YET?! HOW ARE WE GONNA FIGHT THE HORDE?!" In a way she was sarcastic, but it was clear she was desperately willing to fight.

Bow sighed loudly, stopping himself from yet another voice crack.
"Nice job, AdoraaaAaAaAA..shit." Glimmer whispered sarcastically, making me turn my head.
I turned my head. The Horde.
"Uh.." Bow said, "Princess Entrapta?" A voice crack escaping his mouth.
"Yes?" She said eagerly, jumping out a random bush. Bow pointed to the Horde and Entrapta stared blankly.

It felt like a really stupid staring contest. It was, honestly.

"ENTRAPTA!" Glimmer yelled, "ACTIVATE THE ROBOTS!"
"Oh! Right!" She said, clapping right after. A mob of bots came out of random bushes and hiding spots, though the few that weren't hidden, powered on. "This is gonna be so fun!" She yelled, putting on her bug-like mask and sinking into the bush once again.
