Adora POV
I got out of bed, tiptoeing to the window of my room. I opened the window as quietly as I could. Suddenly, pink sparkles appeared next to me, and then Princess Glimmer and Archer Bow were there."Guys!" I yelled in shock, my hands dropping from the window, "Guys- hi!" I cleared my throat.
"What are you doing? I knew it! She went off to tell the Horde our information to attack us after your Salineas attack failed!" Glimmer exclaimed.
"Glimmer, let's listen to her." Bow said.
Glimmer scoffed, "Fine. Where were you going, Adora?"
"The Horde, but-" I said.
"I knew it!" Glimmer interrupted. Bow put his hand on Glimmer's shoulder, like I did to Catra. She calmed down and listened.
"My best friend..she's at the Horde. I can't leave her there. I can't just leave her."Glimmer and Bow exchanged looks, then looked back at me.
"Fine, Horde Scum," Glimmer started, "But we're coming with you. To make sure you don't try anything."
Bow added, "And to help you if something goes wrong. Also to help you make an excuse if the Queen finds out you left." I smiled, and Glimmer grabbed both me and Bow, teleporting us out of the castle.Midway walking through the Whispering Woods..
Author's note: just for the rest of this part, I'm gonna be typing in a new way (instead of Princess glimmer, it'll be g) so it's easier to type
"Ugh, this is so boring!" G exclaimed, her hands rubbing her face.
"Woah." I whispered.
"Double whoa." B (bow) repeated. There was a sword, stuck in some sort of pile of dirt.
"Dibs!" I yelled, running towards it.
"Stop her!" G yelled, teleporting to me, blocking the sword. I slid under her legs while B attempted to hit me, but i quickly dodged. B almost shot, he was in the position to strike. My hand touched the tip of the sword.
"Shoot me, and I grab the sword." I said, panting loudly.
"Don't you dare!" G exclaimed. Not caring if B didn't shoot me, I grabbed the sword. I felt a glow in my eyes, and it left. I felt taller, the floor suddenly lower. My eyes closed uncontrollably. Suddenly, my eyes opened."What?" I whispered getting up from the floor. G and B stared at me.
"You're fucking SHERA!?" G yelled.
"Wanna tell us how you did that?" B asked.
"Did what?" I said.
"Turn into some sort of Princess."
"I'M A PRINCESS?! WHAT!" I yelled, my hands instinctively touched my heart.
"Shera," B started, "She's a legendary warrior. She disappeared for thousands of years, and everyone believed she was a myth. But— here you are."
"Bow, how do we know we can trust her? Don't tell her everything." G said, grabbing B's hand.
"We don't. But I feel like we can." B whispered, loud enough for me to here.
G sighed, "We'll deal with all of..this back at Bright Moon. Now how about we go..do what we came here for?"
"Right," I said, "Catra."At the Horde..
"I need to go the rest of the way myself." I whispered to Bow and Glimmer.
"Alright, but here." Bow said, giving me a little button to put in my pocket, "If you go in danger, it can track you." I smiled.
"Here," Glimmer said handing me the sword, "I guess not everyone in the Horde is evil. I feel like we can trust you. I feel like I can trust you. But please, come back. Or else my mom's gonna kill me! And... I'm also gonna miss you. It's nice having someone to make fun of Bow with me."
I laughed, then took the sword, "Ok, but how am I going to change in to that sherop girl?"
"Shera, and I don't know." Bow said.
My pupils dialated, a sentence coming into my brain, "For the honor of Grayskull. That's what I have to say."
"Ok, I guess. Now go! And come back quickly." Glimmer smiled.
I smiled back. I put the sword on my back and snuck back into mine and Catra's room.Author's note: pretend Catra and adora had their own room
Catra was awake, sleeping horizontally (for the first time), looking at the ceiling.
"Catra—" I whispered, being interrupted.
"Adora?" Catra got up, then stared at me. Tears filled her eyes. "Go."
"What? No, I'm back for you."
"No. You told me I'm a lying bitch who can go to hell. You don't go back for a lying bitch who can go to hell."
"Look, I'm sorry I was just—"
"I don't care. You left me."
"You lied to me!"
"Because I was scared of you leaving me!" Tears fell down her face.
"I'd never leave you!"
"You did!"
"I'm sorry!"
"You've always thought sorry would fix everything, huh? Well, it doesn't."
Tears dropped down my face, "Catra.." I sat down on the bed, and Catra did too, "I'm so sorry."
"Wanna know what happened when you left?" Catra whispered.
"What..?"
‼️ SENSITIVE TOPICS COMING UP ‼️
"Shadow Weaver tortured me. She put me in a magic cell, which almost killed me. She took me to Hordak, who denied her request to kick me out of the Horde. She then tried to send me to Beast Island, but failed because I took out the soldiers who tried to. She called me a disgrace, she said I can kill my self."
"..what?"
Catra started sobbing, and fell into me. I hugged her, it was the only thing I could do.
"Come back, Adora." Catra whispered.
"I can't."
".." Catra pulled out from my hug and got up. She wiped her tears and closed your fists. "Why?"
"I just can't, you can come with me. To Bright Moon. I know you're a good person."
"You don't know everything about me."
"Maybe I don't but—" before I could finish my sentence, Catra's nails hitting the wall cut me off.
"Get out."
"What?"
"Get. Out."
"I'm not leaving without you."
"Then you're dumber than I thought." She said, her nails scraping my arm. "Go. Now."Tears filled my eyes. "Catra.."
"GET OUT!"
I crawled out the room's window, sobbing.Catra POV
Once the window closed, I went to look outside of it. She's really gone.
