𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮 𝗣𝗢𝗩 I was sleeping peacefully until my guard ran into my room. "Princess Mermista, someone's outside." My guard said. I groaned, "Tell them I'm asleep." I turned over, dipping my face into the pillow. The feathery case brushed across my face, making me itch. The pose was uncomfortable, my face begging for me to scratch it. "Mermista, one of your father's many wishes was—"
"That I ruled my kingdom properly, yeah. I know. He wasn't even there often, so why should I listen to him?" I whispered, sadness overtaking me. "He greatly saved you multiple times." My guard said, his voice growing impatient. "Ugh..I'll go. But I'm not doing this for my dad who never made time for me." I said, getting up and finally scratching my face. "Good, Princess Mermista." I got up and walked out, followed by my guard.
𝗦𝗲𝗮 𝗛𝗮𝘄𝗸 𝗣𝗢𝗩 It's a boat! Even better, it's a shiny boat. A big boat. A gorgeous boat. I'll name her, 'Ocean.' No, too basic. I'll name it later! Onwards to Adventure! I ran towards the boat, taking out 2 or 3 guards while doing so! Well..kind of.
I couldn't get past the first guard.
"I need that boat!" I yelled, my hand gripping the guards'. "Princess Mermista is coming. We shall await her decision." The guard said, throwing my hand down. I gave my best convincing face but it didn't even stun the guard.
Princess Mermista came!
Author's note: i can't see the word 'came' the same anymore help🏃♂️
She had gorgeous blue hair, an amazing suit and a terrific..I would say smile..if she was smiling. Her face was straight, no emotion to be seen. This will be a tough convincing.
"What," she said, walking in front of me, "Guards, uh..dismissed. Or whatever, you can go take a break." She gave them a break. Her voice was amazing, the voice of an Angel, perhaps. "Why are you here, what do you want, how fast will you go so I can continue my busy work." She turned to me, looking at me. "Uh- I am the one and only Sea Hawk!"
"Are you the one who burned my chef's boat?" Princess Mermista said. "Probably." "What do you want?" "Your boat, Great Granddaughter 3!" "I'm assuming you burned one and 2?" "Yes, you know me so well, Princess." "No, you're request was..declined. Or whatever." "Princess, please! Help a man who needs a way back home!" "No, go back the way you came." "I'll do this hard way!" I yelled.
I ran towards the boat, easily going as there were no guards. The Princess couldn't hurt me. Could she?
I stopped midair with the feeling of water around me. I looked down to see water surrounding my body, me floating above the floor.
"Upwards!" I yelled as the water threw me higher, "Downwards!" I exclaimed as Princess Mermista threw me into the ocean.
I swam out, catching my breath, "It'll take more than that to kill old Sea Hawk!" I said, diving back into the water. I noticed one thing, she had a trident. Could her powers come from there? If I took them away, she can't stop me! Perhaps, I'll get her powers! Huzzah!
I swam out the water as she violently stared at me. "Adventure!" I yelled as I grabbed her staff. She slapped me with water then through me back into the ocean. It was so fast, I can't describe it. I could only feel my adrenaline rising. I sunk, my body unable to swim. My shirt got stuck onto a rock of some sort. I couldn't get it off.
𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮 𝗣𝗢𝗩 "Oh. He's dead. Awh." I whispered to myself as I turned to leave. "Mermista." "Uh- guard. Why are you here? You were like- dismissed." I said, my hands on my hips. "We do not kill guests." "He's not a guest, he's a drunkard who wants our boat." "He's still an innocent guy." "Fine."
I lifted the waters where he fell. The waters lifted nothing.
"Too bad, he's dead." "Mermista." "Ugh. Fine."
I transformed into mermaid as I went into the water. I quickly found him, stuck on a rock. He looked dead. I swam towards him and unhooked him from the rock. Lifting him was simple underwater, and so was going back to ground.
"I'm going on my break, good job Mermista." "Thanks, guard." "My name's Tom. You know that." "I pretend I don't." "Good job." "Mhm."
My guard— Tom left. Tom's my most loyal guard. But now let's focus on the dying man.
He coughed as his eyes opened. He laid on my lap, looking innocent. Thank god I didn't kill someone, the guilt would haunt me.
"Princess." "What?" "You saved me!" "Mhm..I'm a Princess. That's like- my whole thing." "Thank you."
I blushed lightly, "Ugh! Go get the boat." "I can get it?!" "Don't make me change my mind." "Thank you, Princess!" He said hopping up and running towards it, "Onwards to adventure!"
Now that we're done with that, I can go sleep.
