Adora POV
We broke into the castle, pushing down multiple guards. Catra jumped towards the runestone, attempting to break it.

"Catra, I don't understand one thing."
"Maybe ask me when we're not, I don't know, attacking a realm?"
"Saving a realm," I asked the question which stood at the tip of my tongue, "Which is what I'm asking. Salineas looks so perfect right now, why are we saving it? It looks safe."
"Adora, do you seriously not know?"
"No! What is it? What are you hiding from me? What is everyone hiding from me?!"
"The Horde is evil, Adora."
"What?!"

Princess Mermista broke in, "Did you seriously think you could break this without me noticing?"
"Well, that would've been convenient, but now that you're here, wouldn't it be nice if we captured Salineas and its' Princess?" Catra said, her nails ready to attack.
"Go ahead and try." Princess Mermista said.

"Stop." I whispered, my voice raspy.
"What now, Adora?" Catra asked, in a position to strike.
"What do you mean we're the bad guys?!" I yelled, making Princess Mermista shocked.
She interrupted our conversation, "Did- did you not know? The Horde is an evil empire. It's been trying to conquer the world, for like, forever. It's killing Etheria."
"Catra, please tell me she's lying." I said, turning to Catra. "There's no way."
Catra sighed, coming next to me, "She's not."

What?

"No. No, no, no, no!" I yelled, my hands on my head. "Please, tell me it's not true." I said, grabbing Catra's hands.
She responded with a sad look, a one disappointed in herself, "Of course you didn't realize." She said, throwing her hands out of mine, "You're Shadow Weaver's favorite. You were too busy caught up in your lies, while I was being punished, hurt, manipulated and dumb."
"What does Shadow Weaver have to do with anything!?" I yelled, as Princess Mermista slowly backed away (she was still in the room, though).
"She's been telling you lies! Hordak, Shadow Weaver, all of them! You just realized?! They've been hurting me, punishing me!"
"They never punished you!"
"Oh yeah?!"

"They always have! You were just too naive to see it."
"I..what?"

My face looked outside, our troops miserably losing. Even without Mermista attacking.

"C'mon, let's go home. This war was a fail anyways."
"No."
"What do you mean, no?"
"I mean no, I'm not going back."
"What?"
"You've been lying to me!" I yelled, tears escaping my eyes, "I don't care about Shadow Weaver and Hordak, but the fact that you knew this entire time and didn't tell me the truth is what hurts! You're a lying bitch who can go to hell for all I care!" My mouth opened before the thoughts entered my mind. My anger quickly turned into regret.
"Wow. You said you'd do anything for me. Do it, come to the Horde with me. Or else, you're just as bad as me."
"..I'm not going back."
Catra stared at me, shocked and scared, "Fuck you." Were the last words escaping her mouth before she broke a window and ran away on all fours.

"Blonde?" Mermista said, reaching out for my shoulder.
"Sorry." I said, turning my head to hers.
Mermista smiled, "Let's take you to Bright Moon, they'll help you."
I looked back at the broken video, where I saw Catra, dropping tiny tears, then I looked back at Mermista, "Thank you."
"Ugh, whatever, you're welcome."
