We continued the exposure therapy for the next four days. I improved a lot! It got to the point where I could sit alone on the porch and not flinch. I was so proud and so was the rest of the family. Once the rain finally cleaned up, we went out to train again.

"Ranboo, I think you're ready to move on to fighting Tommy. You're doing amazing!" Wilbur said which made me smile and he walked me over to Tommy.

"Hey, big man!" Tommy said as he noticed us.

"Hey, Toms." Wilbur said and put a hand on my shoulder and smiled. "Ranboo's ready to move up to you."

"Ohhhhh. Ranboo, you're going down." He said with a giant smile.

"With Tommy, you are allowed to use your power. Combine that with your fighting knowledge, and you're set up to win. If something goes wrong and you somehow manage to set it on fire, there is a creek right over there. The armor is made to protect you from the flames, though. I'll be watching over here, so good luck!" Wilbur explained with a smile and sat on the bench nearby.

"Ready, big man?"

"Yep!" I said with a plan.

The fight started out with just using our swords. Turns out that Tommy is extremely good with swords, so I had to do a lot of dodging. I saw him getting ready to use his flames, so I stared into his eyes. As I did that, I smiled seeing that it worked and walked behind him. I blinked and pushed him from behind so that he was laying on the ground as I put a foot on his back, signaling that I won.

"Holy shit!!!" Tommy yelled. "That's the first time someone's ever gotten me down on their first fight with me! I would be mad, but that was just impressive!"

"Wooooooo! That's my boyyyyy!" Wilbur screamed as I smiled and helped Tommy up.

We did four more rounds and I won two of them. Phil and Technoblade came from the field as I ran over to them.

"Phil! Phil! Phil! You won't believe what I did!" I yelled and jumped around.

"What did you do?" He asked to match my energy with a smile.

"I got Tommy pinned three out of the five times using my powers!!!!"

"Really?" Phil asked and I nodded.

"Do you want to watch?"

"Of course!" he said as I ran over to Tommy.

I did the same strategy and pinned him after two minutes. I had my boot proudly on Tommy as I looked up and smiled at Phil and Techno.

"Holy shit!" Both Techno and Phil said in shock. I helped Tommy up as we walked over to them.

"We are raising a crazily overpowered man! He hasn't even figured out his other powers yet!" Tommy yelled, angrily.

"It's okay, Tommy. You can't always be better than everyone. " Techno said and Tommy pouted. "By the way, Jack and Tubbo will be here any minute now. If you want, you can try to learn your electrokinesis with Jack. Are you ready for that yet?"

I thought about it. I could handle loud noises and flashes better. Why not try it? "Sure. Also, how old is Jack?"

"17" I heard an unrecognizable voice say behind me. I spun around and saw a man with a blue striped jacket and glasses that were blue and red. "I'm Jack." He said, holding out his hand to shake.

"It's nice to meet you, Jack." I said with a smile.

"Ranboo said that he would be ready to learn how to use electrokinesis!" Phil said with excitement as Jack had a wide grin on his face.

"Oh that's great! It's so cool once you figure it out. Let's go to the center of the field. It'll be easiest there." He said as I waved goodbye to my family(and Tubbo) and followed him.

"Would you like me to demonstrate what will happen?" he asked and I nodded eagerly. He wrapped his hand around a lightning bolt necklace, closed his eyes, and pointed to an open spot in the field. A couple seconds later, a large beam of light struck the grass and a loud boom followed.

"Woahhhh" I said in amazement.

"It does not matter if it's day, night, sunny, or cloudy. It will work anywhere as long as you can see the sky above you. You can start fires with it, so I'd be careful. We should've brought Niki." He said and chuckled. "To access the power, you need to touch anything that has the lightning bolt symbol and point to a specific spot where you would like it to strike. It helps if you close your eyes and feel all the weight on your feet. Are you ready to give it a try?"

"Sure. Will it hurt? Can you walk me through it?"

"It should not hurt, but your body will feel a little staticy and tingly. You might be a bit dizzy after your first couple of times, as well. And, of course I'll be right here to help. What kind of trainer would I be if I wasn't helping?" He scoffed. "Okay, pick a spot in the field. Got it?" He asked and I nodded as he slipped his necklace onto me. "Grab the lightning symbol on the necklace and focus. Feel your feet sink into the ground and stand straight up, like you could reach the stars. Once you feel static in your body, point to the spot in the field."

I wrapped my hand around the metal necklace as I put all my weight even on my feet. I stood tall and concentrated. I felt a tingle in my hand as I pointed to the spot in the field. I opened my eyes as I heard a loud boom which made me jump.

"Did I do it?" I asked as Jack stared at me with wide eyes.

"Yeah! Holy shit! That was- That was perfect!" He said as I heard my family run towards me.

"That was so fucking cool!" Tommy yelled and tackled me with a giant hug. I felt dizzy and light headed, so I sat still with my hand still tingling.

"You alright, mate?" Phil asked as Tubbo knelt by me and pushed Tommy off.

"Y- Yeah, just dizzy."

"That'll happen for a little bit. You did great though!" Jack said. "I would rest for the rest of the day because it can be draining. To keep the skill, try to use the power once a day for the first month."

"Thank you, Jack." I said as Tubbo helped me up and walked with me to a bench with water. I watched Jack and Tommy fight. It was amazing to see how they fought. I looked to my right to see Phil and Technoblade fighting as well. It looked like Phil was winning with Technoblade hovering in the air. Wilbur was practicing with a bow and arrows.

Phil jogged over to us after he finished his match(which he lost). "Hey, Tubbo! Mind if I steal Ranboo from you?"

Tubbo was reluctant, but nodded and went to talk with Wilbur. I've noticed how clingy he's gotten recently, but I don't mind. I like his company. "So, I have a gift for you." Phil spoke up.

"Really? You know I don't need anything."

"Yeah, but this is quite necessary." He said and handed me a golden necklace with buttons on the sides. I immediately remembered when Tubbo showed me his which was a bee. The one Phil was holding was a lightning bolt, similar to Jack's. "I assume you already know what it is. It helps you communicate with us when you are in danger. We all have one, so I think it's time you have one as well. Since you are part of the family now." He said as my face lit up at that last sentence.

I lent in and gave him a hug with a smile. "Thank you so much!" I said into his shirt.

"Your welcome, mate. It's already linked up to everyone else's. Make sure you don't take it off. Would you like to test it?"

"Yeah!" I said and looked at the different colored buttons. I remember Tubbo saying that code green was safe, so I pressed it. I felt the necklace vibrate and looked up to see everyone stopped fighting to look at their necklaces. I looked down and saw the small screen on the necklace flashing green with a small picture of a crown in the top corner.

"Perfect. Just a reminder, code green is safe. Code yellow is a spotted danger. Code red is needing backup. Code purple is about to die or send immediate help. Make sure you alert back to green when you are safe again." He said as I nodded.

'This is so cool!' I thought to myself as I studied the necklace.
