ashton pulled up to my house and ran to my car door
"see you in a couple hours?" he asked pulling me close
"see you in a couple hours" and he leaned in and pressed our lips together and i smiled against our kiss i don't see myself getting tired of his lips. I pulled away and walked up to my door and unlocked it and closed it behind me hearing him start his car and drive away

i started to get my things together grabbing some clothes enough for a couple days josh didn't tell me how long he needed me there but i was hoping he was okay that's all i was worried about i decided to text him to check up
Me: "hey babe, just wanted to make sure you're okay"
i put my phone down and started grabbing my toiletries and packing them away in my bookbag
*buzz*
josh: "hey i'll be alright have some stuff to take care of i'll let u know if i need anything thank u for doing this"
Me: "yeah ofc. is it okay if i bring someone over too? dw he's not a murderer or anything"
josh: "ouuuu get it babe ofc you can i gtg i'll update u later love u"
Me: "love u too <3"
I'm still worried about him he hasn't told me what he was doing he usually tells me everything he does all day this wasn't like him. Suddenly i remembered i wanted to look up Ashtons band i went over to my desk and opened my computer and looked up 5 seconds of summer and pressed search. My eyes widened to see all that came up
"holy shit" i said lowly. I was faced with the fact they're way more popular than i realized i moved over to the videos page and clicked on the first one.
"Youngblood (official video)" the video finished and i realized
"no fucking way i do know them" i said as i got a text
Ashton☕️: "hey what time u want me over love?"
holy shit love???? call me love again i'll probably die
Me: "i'm heading over soon how about 5:30?"
Ashton☕️: "sounds great"
i finished packing up my stuff and let my dog out before we left. I let her back in put on her collar and we went to my car i started it and turned on the radio and started to drive
"up next we have a throwback song from five seconds of summer" my breath hitched
"what the fuck" i said lowly
"This is Luke"
"This is Michael"
"This is Calum"
"And this is Ashton"
"we are five seconds of summer and this is she looks so perfect"
the song played and i was still processing the fact that the man i met in a coffee shop that could have anyone he wanted and he chose an awkward barista that wants to sing and is probably tone deaf but i'm not complaining.
-at josh's house
I put my stuff in his guest room/my room honestly i'm the only one who sleeps in there. His house was two floors and pretty nice considering his job he's also a mid level youtuber and likes to party plenty of room to do so.
I walked through his living room and sat on his couch scrolling through my phone on instagram and decided to look up Ashton's name for "fun" but seriously someone should take away my internet privileges cause his follower count and the fact he's verified made me nauseous i may be going in over my head with him. But I have never felt this way about anyone ever not even the only other person i've-
*knock knock*
My head shot up from my phone my dog started barking and the butterflies started creeping up on me. I put my phone down on the coffee table and walked to the door. I opened it up and the nervousness went away when i saw his smiling face he had on ripped jeans and a crew neck and rectangular sun glasses.
"i was worried i had the wrong house for a minute" he said before pulling me in for a big bear hug i took in his embrace hugging him back tightly. He pulled back a little and looked down at me i am ant sized compared to him seriously. He leaned down and went to kiss my forehead i leaned my head back so our lips connected and i felt him smile into my kiss i hope every kiss feels like this so electric.
"missed me?" he asked tilting his head to the side
i hummed in response backing us up and ashton kick the door closed. He leaned back in for another kiss and pulled away grabbing his hand and pulling him to the kitchen.
"well that was rude" he said sitting down in a bar stool and i stood in the kitchen
"ashtonnn-" i was acting like i haven't learned his last name in my research
"Irwin" he said smiling
"ashton Irwin will you get drunk with me tonight?" i said pulling out tequila from under the counter with a big smile on my face. He laughed at me shaking his head.
"oh i suppose since i'm already here" he said rolling his eyes
"you don't have to we don't have to get plastered ether i don't want to make you uncomfort-" he cut me off
"i want to trust me" he said putting his hand on mine
i smiled and looked in his eyes
"shots?" i asked and he nodded his head i pulled out some limes from the fridge and put salt on mine, I poured the tequila and held up my glass
"to the start of something beautiful" i said clinking our glasses we tapped them on the counter then downed them quickly. I made a stupid face while sucking on my lime when i opened my eyes ashton was laughing at me and i made a face at him with the lime still in my mouth.
"and you wanna get drunk?" i grabbed a crumpled up receipt and threw it at him taking the lime out and putting it in the cup.
i grabbed two beers from the fridge and walked to the back yard with a small pool and josh's cute yard decor ashton followed me i opened them and sat on one of his outside chairs. I turned to him handing him the beer and he took a sip. I'm a lightweight when it comes to shots they go right through me and i was feeling it in my body i could also feel ashton grabbing my beer and turning twords me starting to extend his legs my way.
"what the hell" i said in a stupid squeaky voice
"come lay on me loser" he said rolling his eyes
I turned and scooted close to him and layed my back on his chest. He handed me my beer and put his hand on my shoulder stroking it with his thumb lightly. This is like the most beautiful dream sitting with an angel of a man at sunset in his arms what the fuck is my life.
"ash?" i asked
"ash?"he asked in response
"trying it out" i told him
"anyway can you tell me something?" i asked him
"hmm?" he hummed
"do you feel it too?" i asked
"feel what?"
"that strange feeling the butterflies the scary but amazing feeling of being together" i took a big gulp of my beer and looked out to the setting sun when i realized he wasn't answering i got nervous i couldn't see his face but i could feel his heart beat it was fast did i just fuck up?
"sorry that might be weird" i said starting to get up from laying on him and he pulled me back down gently by my arm.
"it's not. I do feel it too i'm just afraid to admit it i suppose...I felt something i don't think i've felt before when i met you i see lots of beautiful people but..no one like you" he said moving his hand to my face the sun almost completely gone now i could cry now what the fuck i had no idea he felt it too
"really i feel like i'm kind a dud" i said jokingly in my constant effort to deflect he chuckled
"you're the one that asked i just gave u my answer don't avoid it" he said laughing i turned to look at him
"how do you know so much about me?"
"i could ask you the same thing" he said tucking my hair behind my ear.
"touché" i responded
it was completely dark now i finished off my beer and stood up
"where are you going?" he asked sitting up
i ran inside to grab my phone and i connected it to the living room speaker and played
Lover, You Should've Come Over-Jeff Buckley and walked back out to Ashton finishing off his beer still looking at me in question i walked up to him and put my hand out to him, he raised his eyebrow and i rolled my eyes.
"may i have this dance ashton" i asked. He laughed and he put his hand on mine and i pulled him up so our bodies were close and started dancing probably so horribly but this is some shit that happens in movies no matter how stupid i look it will never compare to how beautiful he is. Although i was leading my head was resting on his chest and i felt him rest his chin on my head, i smiled at his action he's the person i am the most comfortable with every moment i want to stay in with him. I pulled apart and tried to spin him the spin was successful but his tipsy ness brought him and i descending to what was behind us which was the pool. I wouldn't have fallen in if he didn't latch to me on the way down i let out a yelp as our fully clothed bodies became soaked.  I came up from the water trying to push the hair from my face choking on water and my laughter and his booming laughter coming from behind me.
"what the hell" i said still in my laughing fit
"if one of us goes down we gotta go together" he said back in his laughing fit aswell. I felt his arms yank my waist and pull me to him and hold me from behind.
"taking back control huh? did you get jealous i was leading our dance?" he turned me around so i was facing him now
"you think you were leading you got us into the pool!" i pretend to be offended
"that was all you, you lost balance and grabbed me while you fell in the pool" i pushed up on his shoulders pushing him under the water and pushing off him. He shook his hair of his eyes.
"you are so dead" he said with a smirk before launching at a speed i had no idea anyone could in water i tried to swim away from him but he got hold of my hand and managed to make it up to my shoulders. I hope none of josh's neighbors can hear this cause there will be lots of explaining to do about all the noise between girly screams and music. He pushed me under and i stayed under and opened my eyes pulling him under to and he opened his too this hurts my eyes but how rom com is this shit i pulled him to me and kissed him before coming up for air. when he came back up too we caught our breath i was rubbing the chlorine out of my eyes and i felt him pull me and our lips smashed together, the taste of chlorine and beer overwhelmed my senses and trying not to inhale the water dripping from my face didn't matter he pulled my legs up so they were around his waist it was more intense then our other kisses although the explosions of butterflies and what the fuck is my life was still there for sure this one was..lustful.  I moved down his face trailing kisses to his jaw bone and down to his neck fluttering the softest kisses probably ever he extended to give me more space i got to one spot and earned a sharp inhale which made me smile realizing i stumbled across his sweet spot.
"can i?" i asked him breathlessly hoping i wouldn't have to elaborate
he hummed in response
"please ashton i need to hear you" i looked over at him when i said it he smiled responded
"yes" I smirked and went back to his lower neck it was practically his collar bone which is easy for him to hide which made me feel comfortable with leaving my mark on him. I admired my work for a moment when ashton turned his head to me lying his forehead on mine our chests moving up and down quickly.
"are you cold" he asked me
"i don't know why" i could be cold but i couldn't tell between the warm pool and the overwhelm of my senses he brought his hand up to my face grazing his thumb across my lips.
"you are, we should go inside" he stood all the way up in the pool still holding me and brought us out
"okay okay i can walk" i said to him and he put me down laughing
"fine let's go inside and shower" he said looking down at me. I hate the feeling of my shirt sticking to me i need this off now i didn't really think that through until it was off and in my hand when i realized.
"sorry i hated that feeling" he blinked a few times looking down at me it was his checking me out face i know that face
"my what?" he asked laughing now i sighed loudly
"fuck i'm not even drunk and i'm saying everything on my mind" i started walking inside when i heard the sound of something flopping on the floor i turned and he took his shirt off too, alright now i'm checking him out he was practically sparkling in the moonlight
"oh there it is that's your checking out face" he said pointing at me. I flipped him off ,i could feel my face get hot probably because i was freezing..yeah i'll blame it on that. I took my pants off revealing my boxer shorts and i looked back at him in awe again
"what i don't want to get water everywhere" which was true i don't but also i wanted to see him like that again.
"so you can use my shower i'll use josh's there's body wash and conditioner in there" i yelled back at him when i turned around he was still outside he looked zoned out almost and he shook his head when he realized i was looking at him and cam inside closing and locking the door behind him.
"i'll grab you a towel too but first one more shot? to put us to sleep after" i smiled at him
"let's do it" he said i walked over to the counter pouring us two full shot glasses of fireball we tapped our glasses in sync holding eye contact before downing our drinks i shook my head and made a face like usual and ashton shook his head and laughed at me.
"i'll go get your towel" i said smiling shoving his shoulder as i walked by.
