part 9

Me: "hey i'm closing up now what are you guys up to?" I texted ashton before locking the front door and putting my phone in my back pocket i went around with my spray bottle and a wash cloth while blasting my music turning the chairs upside down on the table to prepare for a mopping. I went around wiping and scrubbing everything down. I jumped at the sound of a notification on my phone it was on silent but not anymore apparently.
Ash: "hey cutie we got a couple songs left to do if u wanna meet us here then we were planning on going out if you're down!"  Now this made me feel lots of different ways
1. holy shit he wants me to meet his best friends/ band mates that is terrifying
2. he wants me to meet his best friends is that as serious as it would be for me as it is for him
3. go out? as in party with strangers and a man i am..involved with...that i've known for a three weeks and only kissed last night
is it weird to take that long to kiss someone you like this month? i started getting flashbacks of last night the way i felt when we kissed and how scared i had been before kissing him and how much i wanted to kiss him right now. I could even settle for a hug right now i just want to be with him. that's so weird right i might barley know him and i like him this much? i need to reel it in i need to protect myself without losing him. I realized i'd never answered his text when i heard my phone again.
Ash: "you good over there?"
Me: "yes lol sorry just got busy cleaning i'd love to come! send me the address i just gotta stop and let the dog out and change."
Ash: "sounds good i'll see you soon beautiful"
"beautiful" sometime i think it's stupid to love it that a man is giving me look based compliments but when a beautiful man (ashton) calls me beautiful i feel inclined to believe him. I looked around making sure i didn't miss anything and had set everything up for the opening shift. I grabbed my keys locked the doors and window and left.
I opened the door and called out for my dog she ran up to me excited that i'm home
"hey little one" i crouched down and pet her with my stupid puppy voice. you know the one. I let her outside and walked to my room to change out of my clothes when i realized I'm still wearing Ashtons  shirt and i didn't want to take it off i took my pants off and changed into my other black ripped jeans and went to the bathroom to fix myself my hair was bad it was up into my work ponytail but now it was mostly fly aways now. I pulled it down and straightened my hair a little i rolled up the sleeves of the gray shirt and put on my silver chain necklace. I wanted to look good for ashton and his friends but mostly ashton. Personally i think i look awful and exhausted but this was going to have to do. I let the dog back in and yelled goodbye to her and left.
I pulled up to a beautiful cabin it wasn't in a gated community  or anything like i had thought it's definitely rich here wherever i am but quite spread out from all other houses. I walked up to the door hoping this was the right place i was standing outside of the door i haven't knocked or texted i was just standing there i looked down at my outfit regretting it. I could just turn around and leave- 
my thoughts got cut off by the door flung open
"we're you just gonna stand here all night?" a familiar voice asked. My...Ashton was wearing an open button up with pink and blue stripes on it over a black and yellow band tee with khaki pants
"how'd you know i was here?" i asked
"cameras" he said grabbing my hand and pulling me in for a hug. I looked up at him and he kissed my forehead this feels like such an innocent love sometimes wait
"let's not give the boys a show come on" he grabbed my hand and i closed the door behind us we walked into a room with their instruments and two couches in it. It was cute it had black walls with brown accents one leather couch and a blue velvet couch, a bunch of computer screens with three guys crowded around one whispering to each other the camera happened to have the front door camera feed on it.
"guys.." ashton said grabbing their attention they went silent and turned around slowly with big grins on their faces. They stood there awkwardly and i waved with my free hand just as awkwardly. In that moment i realized i was squeezing Ashtons hand i loosened my grip.
"this is ceil, ceil this is Calum, Michael, and Luke." he said pointing at each one of the boys. Luke was the first to finally say anything.
"you were right ash they are pretty" i smiled at his comment but it definitely wasn't the same feeling as when ashton said it. Luke came up to me and engulfed me in a hug i hugged him back he was taller than ashton which made me feel even smaller than i already did when i hug ashton. He finally released me from his hug.
"sorry i'm a hugger. not so much with the other two but they'll get there" Luke said with a smile
"let sit?" ashton asked grabbing my hand again and i nodded sitting down on the velvet couch next to ashton
"so what do you guys wanna get into tonight?" calum asked
"that depends are we ubering?" Michael asked
"how messed up are we talking" i asked
"well we don't want you to feel uncomfortable so only as much as you want" calum said. This might be the only group of men i feel comfortable with
"i'm down for almost anything" i responded luke got up from the couch and pulled me up from the couch aswell
"how about welcome shots and then we can go out?" he looked to the two boys on the couch smiling and nodding their heads. I turned to ashton with a worried look on his face that shifted to a smile.
"let's get going then boys. And you beautiful." he grabbed my waist and walked be over to the kitchen ashton grabbed limes from the fridge and calum was pouring shots when michael walked up beside me
"let me know if they get too crazy i'll beat em up for you" he nudged my shoulder and i laughed
"yeah i don't know about that ashton character you think you can take him on?" i asked and ashton turned to me with a raised eyebrow
"oh yeah i know i can" he responded looking right at  ashton as he handed me a lime and calum handed me a shot we all raised our shot glasses as luke said
"to the love birds!" with a bug smile i felt my face get hot could i smile any wider? i don't think so.
in unison the boys said
"TO THE LOVE BIRDS" we clinked our glasses and downed the hand sanitizer drink that is vodka I was trying extra hard not to cringe to seem cool but i did use the lime.
"alright let's get going yeah?" luke said as the boys all ran out of the room to grab their things as ashton walked over to me pulling me in by the waist and leaning down for a kiss i closed my eyes and leaned in with a smile as i could feel his hands coming up on my body he stopped right before making contact and whispered lowly
"get ready for a fun night" and pulling away grabbing my hand
what have i gotten myself into?
"get your asses over here the car is here!!" i heard calums voice booming from the other room.
