The moment that you found out the truth of your boyfriends' feelings — for each other.
You were sat on your bed, enjoying a mindless Saturday morning. After a rough week of work, you were grateful to have a day off where you could just sleep and relax.
It was coming up on a week since you had last seen your boyfriends. They had left your country for their home last Sunday, and the further they got the less and less your bed smelled like them.
One night they were able to sleep in your home when your mom was away. Too many questions would be raised if she had found all three of you cuddled up in your bed that was a bit too small, but the safety in her being away allowed for you to open your space to them.
Now, you turned over in your bed freely. It was nice to be able to move, but that freedom in movement only made it more clear to you how far away they really were and how hard it was for you to talk to them as much as you wanted to.
The clock was already creeping towards noon, which meant that it was around 1 a.m. there, and neither of them were ever keen on staying up crazy late due to their constant training. You admired them for it, but still wanted to curse them for being so good. What you would give to exchange just a simple "Good morning!" and "Good night!" right now.
That's when your phone began to vibrate in your hands. Your own face appeared before you as the FaceTime screen took over your social media feed that you had been viewing.
You saw yourself in your current state and grimaced, but softened a bit when you saw that the caller was none other than the "Owl Man" himself as Kuroo would call him.
Sitting up, you answered the call with a smile. Two smiling faces meg yours as the call went through and you saw both of your boyfriends sitting together.
Kuroo's smile faded a bit too quickly as he looked over to Bokuto and said something so quietly the mic didn't pick it up.
"Hello!" you said, feeling a bit concerned at the faces the two of them were making back and forth. "Is everything okay, loves?"
They both perked up at the nickname that you had suddenly thrown out there. The tension seemed to release from their shoulders as they smiled again while looking back at you. "Yes! Amazing!" Bokuto said back.
Kuroo's smile faded again and he bit his tongue for a second while looking away quickly. You looked at their surroundings and quickly figured out that they were in Bokuto's room. Bokuto was sat in his desk chair and Kuroo must have been sitting on his bed that was nearby, but he was partially out of frame unless he leaned over.
"Are you sure?" you asked, looking at Kuroo's expression as he moved out of view again.
Bokuto looked over at Kuroo as he made a concerned expression. Well, it wasn't really concerned, but more confused. You expected that your face was probably going to start sporting a similar one soon if neither of them started explaining soon.
