We were sitting around a campfire we made,we had sticks that had hamburgers packed onto it."Man, that was the all-time train dodge!Too cool.Vern,you were so scared you looked like that fat guy Abbott and Costello when he saw the mummy."Teddy said excitedly,"I wasn't that scared."Vern lied."Vern!"we all said,"I wasn't!sincerely!"he lied again."Okay, then you won't mind if we check the seat of your Jockeys for Hershey squirts, will you?"Chris said,"go screw."Vern said,I looked at Vern's hamburger on a stick."you better turn yours over Vern."I said,"this is the way I like to do it."he insisted."ok,don't say I didn't warn ya."I said,as soon as I said that Vern's hamburger drooped and fell into the fire.i began to laugh,so did the rest of the group.

"Aw man!Aw,no man! You got any more Gordie?"Vern asked Gordie."Sorry Vern."Gordie said as he continued to laugh,"It's not funny!What am I supposed to eat?!"Vern asked.i was about to offer him my cookie when Teddy said,"Why don't you cook your dick?"I giggled."it'd be a small meal."I joked,everyone began to laugh again.luckily Vern was able to retrieve his burger,after we ate the boys all began to smoke."Nothin' like a smoke after a meal."Vern said,I just sat there awkwardly."Yeah,I cherish these moments."Teddy said,Chris and Gordie laughed."what did he say?"I asked in confusion,I didn't get an answer though.

"Hey, Gordo.Why don't you tell us a story?"Chris suggested,"ah,I don't know."Gordie said."oh come on."Chris said,"yeah Gordie come on,tell us a story!"i said."Yeah come on Gordo.But not one of your horror stories, okay?I don't wanna hear no horror stories.I'm not up for that man."Vern said,"Why don't you tell us one about Sgt. Steele and his battling leathernecks?"Teddy recommended."i don't wanna hear a war story Teddy."i said,"Well, the one I've been thinkin' about is kind of different. It's about this pie-eating contest, and the main guy of the story is a fat kid that nobody likes,named Davie Hogan."Gordie began to talk about the story he came up with."Like Charlie Hogan's brother, if he had one."Vern pointed out,"Good Vern.
