Morgan's pov
They went after Gordie and drag him back into the water."Pile on! Pile on!"Teddy and Chris said,I laughed and followed them.Vern jumped onto Gordie's back and pretended to choke him,"Sleeper hold! Sleeper hold! No one gets out of a sleeper hold!"Vern said."yeah!"I agreed,"Stop it! I'm serious!"Gordie said,I then noticed a weird thing on Vern's neck.i squinted my eyes a bit as I looked at it,"Hey Vern,what's on your neck?"I asked."Yeah, right. I'm not falling for that one,Stanley."Vern said,the rest of the boys also noticed the thing on Vern's neck."No, Vern. There is something on your neck."Chris said,"It's a leech. Leeches! Jesus Christ, get 'em off!"Teddy said.
I widened my eyes and screamed as we all exited the water,we frantically strip down to our shorts to checked each other for leeches."Hey Gordie, man, there's some on your back!"Chris said,pointing at Gordie's back."Get 'em off!"Gordie screamed,"Teddy are there any one me?!"I asked tearfully."no there isn't,thank god.are there any on me?"Teddy asked nervously,I sniffed and shook my head no."Gordie, man, are you okay? Can you hear me? Gordie, are you there?"I heard Chris said,I turned around and saw Chris near Gordie's unconscious body."Maybe he's dead."Vern said,"He's not dead. He's still breathing, you idiot."Teddy said."Well I don't know."Vern said worryingly,"Hey, hey, just cool it you guys. He just fainted. Gordie?"Chris said as he tried to wake up Gordie.

I never met anybody who fainted before."Vern said,"yeah,me neither."I said."Maybe he made a bad mistake and looked at your face."Teddy said to Vern,"Shut up, Teddy. You okay, Gordie?"Chris asked Gordie as he started to wake up."Yeah."Gordie replied,"let's go."Chris said.we all got changed and got ready to get going again,Gordie was resting against a nearby tree.i worryingly stared at him,I walked towards him while the trio bickered."you ok Gordo?"I asked him,"I think I'll be ok...thanks for asking Morgan."he replied.i hugged him,he slowly hugged me back.suddenly Teddy and Vern started fighting,"Stop it."Gordie said.
But no one could hear him,"stop it."Gordie tried to say a little bit louder."STOP IT!"I yelled,everyone looked at me."you got the floor Gordie."I said as I backed up a bit,"I'm not going back."Gordie said to the trio.Vern and Teddy got up and dusted themselves off,"idiot."Teddy said."Shut up retard."Vern retorted,I shook my head sadly.I could've said something at that moment,but I didn't.i didn't want to make the tension in the air more thicker,so like always I kept my mouth shut and didn't say anything.
