Authors note: Just curious but how old are some of y'all?
Virgo had gotten zero sleep at night and ended up thinking about every possible scenario that could happen as a result of these. He was mentally prepared for everything that would happen. He heard a soft knock at the door and opened it quickly to find Cancer.
She looked cautious and stepped in, closing the door.
"I finished the clothes." She handed over the neatly folded pile.
"But you said you'd be done by tonight."
"I stayed up all night." She smiled.
Virgo did notice that she was a bit messier looking than usual. As they were talking Virgo heard a sharp cry of pain in the air. He whipped his head and rushed over to the balcony, sticking his head out.
"Oh my god." Virgo saw Aquarius once again being dragged to the center of the palace and thrown around by the guards. He saw his father standing over him.
Aquarius coughed during the brief moment he had and rolled over in pain, clutching his stomach.
"Tell me. Who gave you the food? Was it my stupid son?" He squinted.
Even if Aquarius wanted to say something he physically couldn't.
"Hm." He looked at the guard.
The guard walked over and pressed a boot on Aquarius ankle, keeping him from squirming. He groaned in pain and desperately clutched the guard's leg, begging him.
"FATHER!" Virgo screamed from the balcony, grabbing his attention.
He turned his head and saw Virgo.
"Don't do anything!!" He shouted.
His father put his hands behind his back and sighed, looking down at Virgo.
"Look what you did."
Aquarius whimpered as he felt the pressure of the boot increase on his ankle slowly.
Virgo saw that his father had no intention of stopping.
"Father! I'm warning you, you better stop!"
His father couldn't believe that words that came from his mouth.
"He's even threatening me? How bold."
He gave a sharp nod to the guard and then stepped back. The guard finally put his whole body weight onto Aquarius ankle and there was a horrid snap on the air. Aquarius scream curdled in the air and tears streamed down his face, he was on the verge of passing out from the sheer pain.
Virgo's stomach dropped at the sound of his scream. Cancer covered her mouth in shock and looked at Virgo for his reaction. She recognized the look that appeared in his eyes, anger couldn't even describe what he was feeling. His mouth twitched and grabbed his sword, fiercely walking down the hallway.
"Look. He's gone." The father chuckled when he saw his son was gone.
Aquarius was crying, not able to hear anything around him. He couldn't move a single inch as every movement sent a shock of pain through his whole body.
"Your highness?" A guard asked.
"What?"
The guard pointed to the top of the stairs and saw Virgo standing there with a drawn sword in his hand. Aquarius managed to look through his tears and reached out to Virgo for help.
