"Your brother likes a pet?!?"
"SHHH YOU DON'T HAVE TO ANNOUNCE TO THE WORLD!!" Cancer whisper shouted.
"How can he even do that?"
"What do you mean? It doesn't matter! I've never seen Virgo so happy." Cancer frowned at her friend's comment.
"Is your father okay with it?"
"Absolutely not."
"Is it because he's a man or because he's a pet?"
Cancer thought about it for a moment.
"Honestly it's both." She sighed.
"Well what are you going to do?"
"I'm trying to get Virgo to confront father more aggressively. The last time he did, he ran away out of fear." She sighed.
"I would be scared too."
"Ya..."
"Again, thank you for letting me stay over on such short notice." Cancer smiled.
"Of course! You're my best friend."
"By the way, where did your parents go?"
"Oh, they went to the palace to deliver some stuff to your father." She answered.
"AH you're the parents of Cancer's best friend?" He patted the arm of the throne.
"Yes your highness!" The bowed.
"Good good. Thank you for delivering these fabrics to me. I'm sure Cancer would adore them after she returns from her little trip." He felt the silky rolls of fabric and nodded in approval.
The mother and father looked at each other in confusion.
"Pardon me but your daughter is on a trip?"
"Yes! She went to the hot springs with her brother." He answered, not noticing the concerned looks of the parents.
"So, do you have anyone you like?" Her friend smirked.
"Actually no! I'm quite happy with where I am at the moment." She admitted.
"Aw why?"
"I don't think I'll be able to handle my own drama alongside my brother's." She sighed.
"Fair enough." Her friend shrugged.
"Hey, I'm hungry. You got any food?" A voice called from a room.
"Yes! Coming!"
"Wait who's that?!" Cancer gasped, staring at her friend.
"Don't misunderstand!"
"What do you mean?! You're hiding someone?" Cancer gave a grin and barged into the room. Her grin fell and her jaw dropped. A woman, about the same age, looked back at her as she was getting dressed.
"Who the hell are you?" She asked while tying the hanfu at her waist.
"I-uh-uhm." Cancer stuttered as she replayed what she had seen.
"Seriously Cancer? You could've knocked." Her friend sighed.
"Cancer this is my older sister Ophiuchus, Ophiuchus this is my best friend Cancer." She introduced.
"Ah. I've never seen this best friend." She fixed her hair.
"Yes you have! You haven't been paying attention."
"I don't remember seeing her." Cancer blinked.
"She usually locks himself up in his room."
"I don't." She scoffed.
