"I know you're lying, Lucy. Please I know you're not okay, I mean c'mon who would be okay after bumping into your childhood crush" I stated as we made our way to the mall.

"I'm okay, Luna. No need to worry, okay? Me and James are friends" I tried my best to persuade her. I just don't like talking about my past, especially if it's related to my love life. 

"Well if you say so...." She gave me a wary look before we entered the mall.

"It's almost time for my appointment, we should get going" I stated so I can prevent Luna from worrying.

"Yeah we should, what do you wanna do with your hair?"

"I'm going to ask for short hair and dye the ends of my hair, green" Luna just gave me a nod as her response to my answer.

We finally entered the Hair Salon, My hair stylist is ready for my appointment when we got there. Luna told me that she'll go buy a few albums for her collection. One thing that I love about her is that she's a music lover, she never leaves her apartment without her earphones. After telling the hair stylist what she wanted for her hair, the hair stylist immediately went to work.

Few hours later, her hairstylist was done. 

"Lucy, open your eyes" Her hairstylist stated as she finished brushing her hair.

She was shocked by the outcome, No, She was mesmerized by her own reflection. Her new haircut, framed her face perfectly and the highlights she got suited her. It's as if her new look made her a new person. Luna got back just in time. 

"LUC-"
"HOLY SHIT WHO ARE YOU? AND WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY BESTIE?" 
Lucy laughed at her bestfriend's reaction, Don't get her wrong, she's used to Luna's supportive nature. She just can't stop herself from laughing at her Best friend's face rn. Her jaw was wide open and it's like she couldn't believe that that girl is the same girl who cried her eyes out because of a foolish boy who failed to acknowledge her feelings.

"So thoughts?" 

"THOUGHTS? I'LL GIVE YOU MY THOUGHTS GIRLIE. YOU ARE GORGEOUS ASF, OH HE'S SO GOING TO REGRET THE WAY HE TREATED YOU" 

"AHAHAHHAHA you never fail to boost my confidence bestie, but for the record, I'm doing this for myself and not for that foolish excuse of a boy" As I finished my statement, I gave her a smile. 

"Thank you Rosie for turning me into a beautiful masterpiece of yours"

"Lucy, you're not my masterpiece. You are your own masterpiece, it takes a lot of self love and confidence to be THAT beautiful. You owe it all to yourself, Lucy" I couldn't help but smile at Rosie's statement, she's one of the reasons why I'm slowly loving myself and gaining confidence, and for that I appreciate her so much. 

"Awwee Rosie you never fail to flatter me with your heart warming messages" I gave Rosie a hug before I gave her the money and left the salon.

"So what's next?" Luna asked me after we left the salon

"Lets call it a day Luna, I'm exhausted"

"Hmm fair enough, let's buy food first before we go home. I want snacks AHAHAHAHA" I couldn't help but laugh at Luna's statement, we're both foodies so I guess that explains it.

Luna bought 2 boxes of pizza and some fruits while I bought 2 boxes of doughnuts and 2 boxes of pizza since Elena is going to arrive later.

After that, me and Luna said our goodbyes and then I went home to prepare the house for my sister's arrival.

OMG FINALLY! Sorry for the long wait babes, I was too busy with my org meetings and personal stuff. To clear things up, Elena is Lucy's sister figure, in other words, she's her bestfriend. Lucy lives on her own, her parents stay at her place from time to time but most of the time she's alone at her place.
