Deku POV:
It's so loud. Why are they whispering? It's so loud... I can hear their breathing from here... what is it... I looked towards the window, only to see red bold lights shining back at me. Their red glints reflecting on the surface of the desk that was right in front of the window. I could hear their murmuring, it was nonsensical and was practically exhaled out. The eyes moved to look towards me and I backed up. I could hear footsteps outside my door. There was a knock and I immediately opened the door and pulled Hanji in. She asked me what was wrong. I have to make sure I'm not crazy.
"Do you hear that?" I asked her. She listened for a few moments and then shook her head. "Listen closer..." I told her. After a few seconds I saw her eyes widen in fear. I glanced towards the window, as did she. There is was... the monster. The red glint was a darker red than before, and stared right into my soul. Hanji let out a screams and backed out of the room, through the door I forgot to close, and hit the hallway wall. She gripped her hair with white knuckles and looked down as tears began to escape her eyes.
I went to her and asked, "Are you ok, Hanji?"
"I can't breathe..." she exhaled and stumbled across. Then we heard shattering glass. I stood in front of Hanji protectively. (If you ship this... I stg 😃🔫) I know that if she was more composed that she would be able to protect herself, but she's not. She's in a state of panic, judging off of her breathing patterns that is. The monster walked towards us. I powered up my quirk to 15% and stared straight at the creature. It let out a long, gravely, growl. I went in and punched it, but before I even hit it, a hole formed in it's torso and then reformed around my wrist. Slowly, I felt any trace of power I had, leave my system and it felt just like Junior High, like I was quirkless again. I could feel myself losing consciousness, and I fell to the ground, but slightly lifted up from my arm, due to it still being enclosed.
