Characteristics such as extrovert and extravagant are not attributes normally found in Sans, but when there is an almost infinite number of alternative versions of the same monster, then it becomes common to find at least one skeleton monster that acts in such a way. And this Sans would be one called Blue, but even someone who is naturally optimistic has a limit to his patience, a patience that was practically exhausted listening to the arguments of his supposed friends.
It was ironic how two individuals with the title of guardians could be so opposite, because while the one who calls himself Ink, the guardian of the AU's, insists on protecting them only from external threats, thus ignoring any internal problems that may occur. Dream on the other hand insists on helping everyone to the best of his abilities, thus not caring about the supposed balance that should exist between positive and negative alternate universes.
Currently Blue was sitting on a nearby rock while pretending not to hear the already constant bickering of the duo. He missed the old days when the three of them traveled and had fun in the multiverse without worrying about such details and without arguments, but lately conflicts between them were recurrent.
- For the last time Dream, understand once and for all that we cannot, we must not interfere in their personal problems, the creators made that AU precisely with the intention that its inhabitants should suffer. You think you are helping them by avoiding genocidal routes, but in fact you are creating an even bigger mess. - Ink's anger could easily be seen by the shape of his very expressive eyes, a question mark and a circle, both in red. But the time has passed when his supposed companion cared about his colleague's opinion.
- I can't believe you can say that after seeing all that suffering, those people need help. But I guess I shouldn't be surprised coming from someone soulless. - Upon hearing these words, Ink immediately withdrew his giant brush from his back, just as Dream also summoned his bow and they both stared at each other with extreme hostility.
Witnessing all of this, even all of Blue's positivity was slowly fading away. Being part of this group had once been his greatest dream, but now he was slowly yearning to leave it if it meant having peace.
Luckily, Ink diverted his attention when he noticed something wrong with one particular AU.
- Error is attacking again, he always picks the best moments. - Making a puddle of paint on the floor, the guardian then faced his annoying co-worker. - Are you going to help me or do you want to continue this pointless discussion?
- You know I would never abandon an AU in trouble, unlike you.
Rolling his eyes at the comment he had just heard, Ink jumped into the portal together with his team in another exhausting battle against the glitch. The only Sans that could perhaps irritate him even more than the guardian of positivity.
A considerable amount of time had passed since Killer had joined Nightmare, and while he is not good at showing feelings of gratitude, he certainly owed his new boss a thanks for the change in his life.
Almost every day was filled with violence on worlds with the purpose of ensuring that negativity remained something present in everyone's life. When any hint of happiness was detected by the King of Nightmares, Killer was the best agent of chaos for the job due to the fact that this Sans could cause hell on earth regardless of the world he was sent to.
However, this only applied to alternate universes whose theme was always dark, for worlds whose fundamentals were positive, these Killer was never allowed to visit.
- It's not possible that there aren't pacifist routes in at least one AU somewhere, why didn't you ever send me to one of these? - Nightmare's office was a place considered sacred, no one but him was supposed to have access since he liked to be alone with his thoughts from time to time. But sometimes Killer's presence was necessary to discuss details of his next plans. - And about this so-called Error, you mention him sometimes, but so far I have never meet him.
