As the guardian of positivity, Dream had a duty to perform certain tasks that took up a great deal of his time. As his main duty, the guardian patrolled the positive AU's and made sure that their course would be followed naturally without outside interference, something that ended up causing him several fights with the only living member of his family. However, Dream also performed something that was not supposed to be his duty, which was to try to convert negative universes into positive ones. And although Ink constantly warned him not to interfere in internal affairs or try to turn the negative worlds into something they were not meant to be, with the excuse that they were born to suffer, Dream was always stubborn about it and sacrificed what little free time he had and his own well-being to make up the difference.

When asked not only by the artist, but also by others of why he went that far, his answer was something he embraced as a philosophy of life:

"Those who try to make the world a worse place don't take a day off. So how can I?".

This kind of thinking generated admiration from the inhabitants of the worlds he saved, disgust from his brother, and discontent at the sight of his fellow guardian who didn't seem to care about what he fought so hard to protect. But despite being constantly exhausted, recently a new job seems to have been added to his list, babysitting.

On a silent night in Snowdin's town from Underswap, the only noises that could be heard in the house of the skeleton brothers were occasional cries from Blue who was waking up due to nightmares. And despite the best efforts from Stretch, his older brother to calm Blue down, this often became a difficult task, thus forcing him to call for help from those who were partly responsible for his current condition.

Currently Stretch was sitting on a chair in the room just waiting for the work to be done as he prepared his speech mentally. Eventually a sound of the door opening and closing was heard as Dream came downstairs and practically threw himself on the couch.

- How is he? - Papyrus asked, concerned about his brother's physical and mental state.

- He's been under a lot of stress lately, he's been like this for a while, but he managed to cope in silence. If it wasn't for me reading his emotions I might never have seen through that mask of positivity in the shape of a smile. - Shifting his position to get a little more comfortable, Dream continued. - But at least for tonight he will be fine, I used my magic to put him into a heavy sleep, so he shouldn't wake up until tomorrow afternoon.

- At first they were simple nightmares, but panic attacks are new, though I shouldn't be surprised. Stress, anxiety, sleep deprivation, and more injuries than I can count, all of this happened because of you dragging him all over the multiverse. He belongs here, with his family. - The fear of waking Blue was the only thing keeping Stretch's voice under control, but the intensity of his anger could still be felt.

- Do you really want to do this now? I mean, now now? Just when he finally slept? I didn't come here for this. - An awkward silence followed as both monsters stared at each other in the room, until Stretch admitted defeat and broke eye contact first, thus giving up the mental speech he had prepared until a few moments ago. - But after all, you are not completely wrong, things are complicated lately. My relationship with Ink has only worsened recently, seeing it every day has affected Blue much more than I thought it would. And since my brother started recruiting those crazy people the workload has only increased. You know better than anyone that your brother has a kind and courageous nature, I imagine that he must have demanded a lot from himself to try to keep up with this madness that the multiverse is becoming. No one at such a young age should have that weight on their shoulders.

- The panic attack that he had earlier... what exactly happened?

- He woke up because of a nightmare about you. - The poor explanation made Stretch jump out of his chair.
