Some considerable time had passed since Blue's kidnapping, Stretch's injuries were almost completely healed, but he couldn't care less about the condition of his body. For just when his relationship with his brother finally seemed to be improving, something terrible happens and robs him of what little happiness he has had in a long time.

Proposals for strategies were made, but a true consensus of the group as a whole never occurred. Already impatient with the loss of time, Stretch was preparing to start the rescue alone when Ink alerted them of something.

- Error is summoning me. I need to go. - But before Ink could jump into the portal it had created on the ground, Dream tried to stop him.

- Wait! Our priority should be to rescue Blue, as much as it pains me to say this, but if he is attacking somewhere, we should ignore it for now because it could be a trap.

- Or it could be something related to Blue, either way there is only one way to find out. Ink takes me with you. - Already tired of doing nothing, Stretch volunteered to accompany the artist. And the look on his face already told him that getting him to change his mind would do no good. - Anything is better than just standing here hypothesizing what we might or might not do.

Dream opened his mouth to argue, but no words came out, for it was a fact that as things stood, no significant progress would be made. So he just nodded positively in the direction of the two of them.

And without even saying anything, Ink just grabbed his companion by the arm as he dove into the portal on the ground, thus leaving Dream alone with his thoughts. Something that didn't last long before the guardian felt a disturbance in the AU he was in.

- Brother! - Knowing that it could not be a coincidence that Ink was separated from him at the same moment that Nightmare appeared, Dream then summoned his bow as he moved to the place where he could sense the presence of his enemy.

Once the guardian exited the portal, the first sight was a Blue crouched on the ground with some of his bones broken and fractured. Without hesitation or a second thought, an arrow made of magic was shot towards his companion's attacker, but it was easily caught and broken in half by Nightmare's tentacles.

- Blue! Your problem is with me! Don't involve him in this! - Unaware of the strength his brother was demonstrating, Dream was too concerned about his friend to pay attention to these details.

- Dust, watch the boy while I deal with this, you will be the first witness to a historic moment in the multiverse. - Then Nightmare stepped forward a few paces with his arms open as if he were gently welcoming his only family. - No one will get in our way this time, it will all end here.

From within a pool of paint in Outertale, two figures emerged and were immediately attacked by an attack composed of sharp bones, but the artist was quicker to erect a wall of paint to defend them.

- Wow, it really worked. How bizarre that someone can be summoned like this, you mean that every time a little paint falls to the ground this guy appears? - Killer asked cheekily.

- You have to call him directly, and he is not obligated to show up. Now focus on pet anomaly number one, and don't get in my way. - Error's words were followed by another attack, but this time composed of his famous strings, but once again his attack was thwarted by his opponent's giant brush.

- You accepting help to face me? Who are you and what have you done to the glitchy I know? - Said Ink, not as worried as his companion.

- You say that, but I see that you also brought company. I believe we both agree that this is not exactly the ideal scenario for the final battle, but no matter, you will die today Ink. Years and years of endless fighting will finally end today.
