“Manager!” Humahangos ako ng dumating sa conference room.

Nandoon sila Madam Yessa at ang si Mr. Iwamoto kasama ang dalawang lalaki.

“Avresia, ah good thing you’re here.” ngumiti si Madam Yessa at tinanguan ako. “I’m sorry we had to call you and make you go back to Manila in promptu.” Madam Yessa looked at me apologetically.

“Ayos lang po, Madam.” magalang akong tumango. “In fact, I should be the one to apologize for this inconvenience…” sumulyap ako kay Mr. Iwamoto.

“So now, Miss Avresia is here can we talk about the project she signed with us?” nakangising tanong ni Mr. Iwamoto at mukhang hanggang huli ay balak nitong panindigan ang kasinungalingang pinagsasasabi.

“Anong project?”

Parehas kaming napalingon sa may-ari ng boses na nagsalita.

“Mr. Stallix!”

Hindi pa nag-iinit ang pwet ko sa pagkakaupo ay napatayo na agad ako sa gulat ng makita ko siya dito.

“R-Ryx,”

Lumapit siya sa akin at hinalikan ako sa pisngi.

“What business you have here, Mr. Stallix?” tanong ni Mr. Iwamoto na parang nawalan ng kulay ang mukha.

“Business?” Ryx repeated the word coldly.

I could feel his dark aura surrounding the place.

“I asked the CEO for a favor to call me if something…like this,” he paused. “Happen to Avresia. I want to personally deal those bastards who dare think they can do whatever they want to her.”

“What do you mean, Mr. Stallix?” nalilitong tanong ni Mr. Iwamoto.

“You want her to do a nude photoshoot.” madilim ang mukha na ngumisi si Ryx sa matanda. “You…fucking perverted old man.” Basta na lang hinablot ni Ryx ang envelope kay mr. Iwamoto na sa tingin ko ang laman nun ay ang pinagmamalaki nitong ‘pekeng' kontrata na may pirma ko ‘daw'.

Ryx fish out something from his pocket then he lighted up the lighter and burn the envelope kasama na ang lahat ng laman, gulat at galit na napatayo si Mr. Iwamoto dahil sa ginawa ni Ryx.

“ What proof again? Oh, this?” itinapon ni Ryx ang kapirasong natira sa envelope dahil naging abo na iyon. “I hope your lawyer can help you, Mr. Iwamoto. Wait, Is he lawyer even credible to stand in front of us?”

Ilang saglit pa ay may pumasok na lalaki, lahat kami natigilan ng makilala kung sino iyon.

I forgot his name but he’s a famous lawyer.

Why did I even get ssurprised? Ryx is not just something you can mess with and easily run away from him.

“I apologize for my rudeness. Let me introduce myself, I am Rivadon Forth, I came here per Mr. Stallix's instructions.”

“You know what to do, Mr. Forth.” baling sa kaniya ni Ryx.

And just like that, Mr. Iwamoto—— after his talked with Mr. Forth—— like a scared kitten left the building of Imperial Entertainment, hurriedly.

“ Put him in prison. And his business, tore it down, Riv.” malamig na utos ni Ryx kay Mr. Forth.

“My pleasure.” Mr. Forth grinned wickedly.

This is the first time I’ve met him in person. He looks angel in TV but in person…I think people are just really good at deceiving everyone because in front of me are a two powerful ruthless men.

“Make sure all his family will weigh the consequences of his actions.” Ryx continued. I couldn’t even see any mercy on him staring at the vanish figure of Mr. Iwamotor, running away.

“You really forgot all your reasoning when it’s Miss Avresia we are talking about.” Mr. Forth commented.

“I dare all of them to mess with her and I’ll fucking send them straight to where they should belong.” he said firmly.

Nang mapatingin sa akin si Mr. Forth at napansin ang reaction ko ay tumawa ito at napakamot sa batok.

“I guess I’ll go ahead now, Mr. Stallix.” Bumalik nanaman ang formal na tono nito kanina.” I’ll give you an update about Mr. Iwamoto's case and rest assured is a win-win for us.” Tumango ito at umalis na.

“I didn’t think you’d come here.” nakayukong sinabi ko.

“Good thing, the CEO called me.”

“T-Thank you. He’s really giving me a headaches for a months and I’m glad that he won’t pester me again but,” I trailed off.” Hindi ba parang sobra naman na kung pati ang inosenteng tao ay idadamay natin?”
“They have to learn their lesson.”

“I know. But…but still that’s too much. Hindi ba puwedeng si Mr. Iwamoto na lang at hayaan mo na ang pamilya nito?”

“If I do that, they might blame you and take a revenge on you?” seryosong sabi niya.”That's why we cut not just the tree but all it’s branches.”

“B-but still…” lumiit ang boses ko at wala ng nagawa.

Ilang segundong tahimik hanggang sa malakas na bumuntong hininga si Ryx.

“Fine. Just Mr. Iwamoto and his lawyer.”

“T-Thank you.” yumakap ako sa kaniya.

“Seriously, what spell did you put on me? You’re making me tastes different flavors.” marahan niyang hinagod ang likura  ko. “Now, let’s go back to Caligtan but before that we need to drop by at my house.”

“S-sige.” I pulled away from the hug and smiled at him.

Nagpaalam muna ako kay Madam Yessa at humingi na pasensya sa abala, ganoon din sa manager ko.

“Ako dapat ang humingi ng pasensy dahil naabala ko ang pagbabakasyon mo.”

“Ayos lang, manager. I know when it’s your free day nasa bahay ka at binabantayan ang mama mo. How is she, your mom?”

“Naggagamot pa din pero bumubuti na ang lagay ni mama, salamat sa Diyos. Sa susunod na buwan ay magpapacheck-up kami.”

“Ganoon ba, mabuti naman kung ganoon. If you need help please don’t hesitate to talk to me. I’ll send a money to your bank account.”

“H-huh? W-wag na! Nakakahiya.” Mabilis siyang napailing-iling.

“It's okay. Go and treat yourself, manager Abby.” I smiled at her.

Para namang natigilan siya at di kalauna'y ngumiti.

“Salamat, Avresia.”

Ngumiti ako pabalik at saka tumango.” Welcome. Thank you for taking good care of me, manager. I’ll go now.” paalam ko at naglakad na paalis.

Sa labas ng elevator nakita ko si Ryx na naghihintay sa akin.

“Done?” he asked me.

“Yeah. Alis na tayo.”
