Sylvie sitting on the bed in the cell, leaning against a wall, as well as in the next cell Loki sat even if not among them stoves and the wall, leaning against it for one another. Neither knew about it, but they knew who their neighbor in the cell was, they both knew it very well, but they still didn't say a word to each other all day. All their debates took place only in their thoughts, where everyone imagined the reactions of the other.

It was late enough in the night when Loki was awakened from a short sleep by the rumble of the next cell, and he took a breath, but the words did not come out of his mouth.

Sylvie wasn't running out of a cell for the first time, so it was a breeze for her to use what was at hand, even if she had to wait for a convenient cutlery or other better utensil. The cell door was neither well secured nor enchanted, almost as if it were an invitation to escape. And maybe it was, because the main security was not in the cell, but on the hands of the prisoners. With this they were prisoners everywhere.

Sylvie carefully ran out of the cell, she immediately headed for the stairs, Loki watching her, but he didn't say a word, the same moment she turned, Loki closed his eyes. She hesitated for a moment, but eventually returned to open his cell as well - it was so easy, maybe it was a trap, but she definitely didn't want to think about it now.

Loki opened his eyes after he heard that Sylvie running up the stairs and disappearing. He didn't stop her, didn't say a word. After a while, he got up and tried to open the cell. The door opened with the gentle creak. Loki pondered if it was a final gesture of Sylvie, or an unspoken desire to go with her...

Sylvie hid behind the car, trying to come up with a plan to steal it without much fuss - without a dagger, knife or anything to use now. Without weapons, she felt quite uneasy, and even more so in normal clothes. She decided that this event would not take place as quietly as she would have liked and she would have to run fast - she decided to take a risk and reached for the stone she found along the way. At the same moment, she felt a touch on her shoulder. She got up sharply and was ready to attack the head of anyone who tried to disturb her. She stopped at the last moment and Loki managed to jump aside.

"You're crazy!? I could hurt you!"

"Like it was before," he thought, "I know you have good reflexes," he remembered jumping before her sword in the citadel.

Sylvie frowned, "you shouldn't trust me so much."

"I probably shouldn't," he agreed.

There was an awkward moment of silence.

"What are you doing here?"

"I'm trying to make sure I don't sleep under the bridge tonight," but before Loki could ask anything else, Sylvie smashed the car window with a stone, opened the door in a flash over the window, and disappeared inside.

Loki just stared at her in disbelief, "what the hell are you doing?" He whispered.

After a while, Sylvie climbed out, holding the disconnected car radio in her hand, "run!" She hissed and fled. Loki shook his head and ran after her.

In a few minutes later, Sylvie was leaving the pawn shop, holding a few dollars, "I was hoping it would be more, but better than nothing!"

"Do you think he didn't know you stole it?"

"Of course he knew, but business is business."

"You have too much experience on Earth..."

"Yes, I've been here several times - but it was a lot easier. When I chose only places where there was danger, people were not so vigilant... they ran away, you could easily sleep in a foreign house, money did not play such a big role. When you run your whole life, you learn a lot of things."

Loki preferred not to respond, "and what are your plans now?"

"Hide for tonight in the better place." It began to rain slowly, and Sylvie set out to find the nearest hotel.

Loki felt a bit like a loser because she got him out of the cell, she got the money now, too. He had to admit that she could do much better in this. Although it is true that Loki had no reason to try to escape without a proper plan.

When Sylvie noticed that Loki was not following her, she stopped and turned, "what's happening?"

"Did you want me to follow you?"

Sylvie didn't know how to answer, "well, it wouldn't be fair..." she said at last, "I think we have the same opinion about prison against our will." Loki didn't answer this time, Sylvie took a few steps back to him, "look, let's get this straight... Don't think I let you go, because I need you come with me... I never needed anyone and nothing changed in this!"

"I get it!"

"I don't have time for this. I want to be in calm place and think about what I'm going to do next," she didn't forget to talk only about herself. "But I'm not the bitch as you think, I won't leave you here in the rain in the middle of the street, okay?"

"That's really nice from you," he smiled so sadly.

"If you don't want to, you can stay here, I won't stop you!"

"It wasn't ironic."

Sylvie frowned, "fine, but listen me. We will find the hotel, stay in for tonight. But just this one night, tomorrow you and I go our separate ways, okay?"

"Okay, as you wish," Loki agreed flatly, and without another word, they went to seek refuge for this night.
