"We'll just take what we need and disappear as soon as possible, okay? No unnecessary risk!"

Sylvie rolled her eyes, "okay, you already said that!"

"And I tell you again: Remember, we're not resilient anymore like before. I don't want to get us into unnecessary skirmishes. I don't want to test another surprise with this silver shits!" Loki looked at her hand, which had a fresh burn from her bracelet when she tried remove it again.

In another situation she would have healed almost immediately, but now the burn was still quite visible, and even though Sylvie hadn't admitted it, it was very painful and annoying feel weakness in every cell of her own body.

Sylvie noticed his looking at her hand and pulled a long black sleeve over her hand, "okay, I'll be careful, can we go now?"

Loki nodded in agreement and they both got out of the car. It was shortly after midnight when they broke into an electronics warehouse, where, among other things, there were illegal weapons and space waste that got on Earth during any interplanetary skirmishes. They wanted to find anything useful - whether for defense, sale or even the destruction of bracelets.

They split up after entering in the warehouse, there were two guards in the area, so each managed to watch one. Sylvie stole several weapons, and Loki set out to search the remnants from battles.

It was just leftovers, other waste was officially stored in Stark's storage, much better secured. He was squatting by an open box, hidden behind several others. After a while, however, he was fascinated by something small and shiny. He picked up a small pendant, which was dirty from dust. He thought briefly about something before putting the pendant and a few other possibly usable items in his bag. He glanced quickly at the guards and if he would see Sylvie.

The guards were armed, and although Sylvie had collected several weapons, it were not be loaded and ready for use. Sylvie was about to go and look at another box when she heard footsteps and hid. Both guards met at the same place and just had fun for a while, laughing at some stupid jokes.

"Should the handover take place today?" One of the guards asked.

"No, tomorrow," he shook his head.

"And you know what it's supposed to be?"

The guard shrugged, "something from Stark, I just saw it when the boss gave it to the vault. Some little bright thing."

"It probably won't be such little bright thing when someone ordered it to be stolen."

"Look, that's not my business..."

They both continued in debate and Sylvie was definitely interested in the little bright thing, if that was it what she meant. She wondered how she could fold both guards at once and how hard it would be to get to the vault. She was ready to go, when Loki grabbed her shoulder, she turned sharply on him, and he had a finger in front of his mouth to keep her quiet. The guards were only a few feet away.

"What are you doing?" Loki asked, it was such a low whisper that she read it from his lips.

"I have a plan."

"No. Let's go." He didn't know what intrigued her so much, but he didn't agree.

"It's important..." she frowned, Sylvie didn't have time to explain, she wanted his help, no his worries.

"It's a risk."

"It will help us!"

When they argued and Sylvie tried to take action again, they didn't notice that a third guard had come into the hall and noticed them, "hey!" He shouted at them, drawing the attention of the other two guards.
