// Well... I'm really sad when I have to translate chapters like this one, but everything has a reason...
Loki woke up from a rather strange dream, lying on the sofa in the living room, and it took him a moment to remember what had happened last night. Then he noticed that his leg was treated and bandaged, it was painful, but not as much as the day before. Even the shards were cleaned from the floor. Everything seemed normal, except for his injury and the glassless window. But he still had a rather strange and unpleasant feeling that he could not explain. There was an unusual silence throughout the house, "Sylvie?" He called her, hoping he'd show up somewhere and maybe scold him, as she always did. But there was no reaction. So in the end he got up and went looking for her, his leg still hurting quite a bit when he got to the second floor, but he focused more on the fear where is Sylvie than on the pain.
After a few minutes, he changed his clothes and put on his shoes, despite how uncomfortable it condition was. Suddenly he remembered that Sylvie and he had a phone, but he never used it properly. But this time he pulled it out of the drawer, turned it on, and tried to call her. But the other phone just rang in the next drawer of the bedside table, "Sylvie, come on, where are you?" He took at least the dagger he had received from her from the table and decided he would have to look around. Maybe she left because she was upset, he thought, or maybe she went to arrange something.
He was about to leave the back door when he came across Sylvie in the doorway, or so it seemed. Loki was glad thatshe was okay and want to hug her, but he noticed her cold expression and he didn't do it. "Sylvie, where have you been? I was worried about you..." he asked a little uncertainly.
"I was out to arrange something.!" She answered him measuredly, walked around him and headed across the kitchen to the hallway and to the second floor. Loki felt strange about her, but it didn't occur to him that it wasn't really Sylvie at all.
Loki stood at the steps, he felt guilty. He would have expected that Sylvie tell him some provocation, that she would make fun of him, but also that she would be interested in how he felt and if he is okay... but certainly not that she would just pass him by. She had never looked at him as coldly and measuredly as she did now.
After a while, she reappeared on the stairs, and Loki wanted to find out why she was like that, but he started with "Sylvie, thank you... well, I know... yesterday it was..." But Scarlet Witch with Sylvie's face, walked around him and pretended not to listen him. When she had her back to him, she smirked at how submissive he was in front of Sylvie. But Loki grabbed her hand and stopped her, "what's the matter with you? Are you mad at me?"
Scarlet Witch looked at him with Sylvie's cold gaze, "why should I be mad at you? Well... What I suspected a long time ago just confirmed to me."
"What?"
"That you are simply a loser. You come out of every situation as a poor man and that will never change again. You will always be the one who loses."
Loki was taken aback by this reaction, it wasn't like their other quarrels, now he felt she really wanted to hurt him, "why are you telling me this? Is it just because of what happened yesterday? It was an accident, I just..."
"No, don't explain it to me, I don't care," she stopped him. "I don't have time to listen your excuses, apologies or anything you want to tell me. I don't care! "She wanted to leave again when Loki took her hand again, but harder this time.
"Why are you like that? What the hell has changed since I left the bedroom yesterday?"
Scarlet Witch laughed so mockingly at it, "you obviously still don't get it, do you? You're just holding me back, I have a lot higher goals than to hang out with you in bed!" Sylvie's voice came out of her, which was like a sharp knife to Loki at the moment. Loki released her in surprise, and she left.
She was already out of the house when Loki went after her, despite the hurt of his brisk walking, he caught up with her in the garden, "Do you want to leave just like that? After all that happened between us?"
"Oh... And what happened between us? Yeah, wait, I know! Do you think it was important for me be with you or sleep with you? Well, it was nothing special and I just wasted time with you!"
Her words hurt him a lot, he grabbed her arms before she could leave again, "really!? And why did I feel that it meant everything to you, when I held you in my arms, I saw in your eyes that we want the same thing... when we were together... when we made love... I did not read in your eyes that I was loser for you!" He shook a little with her in painful situation. Now he saw only contempt in her eyes.
Scarlet Witch smiled mockingly again by Sylvie's smile and pushed him away, "oh god, you're so naive! Did you really believe that I could love you?" She walked over to him, and Loki instinctively backed away when he saw her hateful expression, "that anyone could love you at all? You will never have anyone who can feel anything about you, you will always be alone!" She looked into his eyes and saw that she hurt him more and more with every word, as tears glistened in his eyes, she smiled contentedly, "you are just an ordinary wretch!" She pushed into him with all her might, so that he immediately fell into the portal that opened directly behind him.
###
When Sylvie saw the whole scene for the first time, she was in emotion... she screamed and cried desperately. Sylvie saw in Loki's eyes the pain Scarlet Witch had caused him, and she knew that Loki believed it was she who had told him all the words. When Scarlet Witch returned, she let it play in her cell as a loop of her memory of that moment over and over again. Sylvie had no idea where Scarlet Witch had sent him, if he was okay. Sylvie was afraid of how Loki might behave after something like that, moreover, when Scarlet Witch did the same thing like her and she sent him through the portal who knows where.
Sylvie couldn't even count how many times the loop of that memory had played in her prison, but she felt it like an eternity, throwing the whole room upside down... but it still didn't help, she could scream, cry, but she couldn't change what happened. She tried not to look at the memory anymore, but she could still hear the same conversation over and over again.
Now she was sitting on the floor, in the middle of scattered things, her eyes closed and she tried not to notice it at all. But the whole scene was etched in her memory, remembering every word, Loki's tone of voice, how confused and hurt by all this. She would never have thought how easy it was to torment someone over a loved one. Only after a moment did she realize that there was silence, and only when she opened her eyes did she notice Scarlet Witch watching her with such a pleased expression.
"You two are a great match, two losers!" She laughed.
Sylvie looked at her with a completely hateful expression, "I was sure that I would kill you when I got out... but now... I will enjoy it a lot, I promise you! You will pay me for every second!"
"Oh so strong words from someone who will never get out again!" She laughed and left.
Immediately, Sylvie heard Scarlet Witch's memory again. But this time she didn't perceive it as she were already numb, instinctively reaching for her neck and feeling the swan pendant she had received from Loki, immediately stabbing her heart when she remembered the moment when he had given it to her. She just waited for the moment when she lost this one thing she had left. All shared their memories of her thoughts swarmed in like an avalanche. She ended up on the floor in tears, what she wanted most was gone again.
