"Do you think you can trust her?" A voice from the darkness woke Loki. Loki was again in the hotel room where he had fled with Sylvie that first night. The figure emerged from the darkness toward him and Loki recognized Mobius, "so can you or not?"

"Is this a dream?" Loki was confused.

"And do you know what is dream and what is reality?"

Loki stood up from the sofa, the whole thing seeming rather strange, like it wasn't even real. Loki looked at the unmade bed, where Sylvie slept before, but now was empty, looked around the room to looking for her.

"Where is Sylvie?" Loki asked Mobius, with the sure that he knows what's going on.

"Can you trust her?" Mobius repeated his question, "can you trust someone who has sacrificed everyone's future just to get what she wants? Do you know what she is capable of?"

"Are we just going to exchange questions?" Loki was getting angry.

"Can you trust yourself?"

"It is enough!"

"You're are the same, you both want to sacrifice everything, even you don't know what it will cause... your relationship is pure chaos, nothing else! It is completely unacceptable and will bring something very bad!" Mobius was no longer in the room, but his voice remained. Loki wanted to leave the room, but when he reached the door without handle. He kept hearing, "can you trust her?"

"Stop it!" He barked in frustration and woke up in bed, in the house. At first he felt relieved, it was just a dream, but right after he heard the question in his head again, could he really trust her?

Loki and Sylvie sat opposite each other in the kitchen at the dining table.

"So...?" Sylvie asked with such a mysterious smile.

"So what?"

"So now what? Shall we go rob the bank?" Her eyes lit up completely.

Loki had to smile at her excited expression, "too risky," he replied, sipping his coffee and looking at the newspaper. Coffee was one of the things he liked on Earth and chocolate that Sylvia loved too. He was looking in the newspaper for anything to suggest that something disturbing was happening , but he hasn't found anything yet.

Sylvie watched him pay attention to the newspaper and came up with another idea, "so we kidnap someone and ask for a ransom?"

"Too risky," he replied again and not even looking at her.

"Well, we can break into Stark's warehouses," she continued, "he will certainly have interesting things there!"

"Too risky," he replied for the third time.

Sylvie began to feel that he might not even listen her, so she ran her foot provocatively down his calf as they sat opposite each other, "shall we do some interesting activity on the table?" She asked in such a provocative tone. Loki looked up from the newspaper, wondering if she meant it, and Sylvie added, "what? Also, it's too risky?" Sylvie got up from the table and Loki set the newspaper aside, "you know what, I don't understand how it's possible that there are so many moments when we can't agree on anything at all!"

Loki got up from the table too, "we can't get too much attention."

"I know, but it annoys me... in addition, you should be happy. I'm trying to come up with a plan mainly for you!"

"For me? Don't we want the same? Fix it all? Or it's not true anymore?"

Sylvie frowned, "I want to fix it, you know that! And I also know that you want to do the right thing... find your brother, warn him of the threat... which would mean that all the heroes will reunite and side by side they will fight against great evil..." she said the last words with irony, "I don't blame you for you want to be a hero!"

"You know very well that I'm a lot of things, but definitely not a hero."

"Why not? What if you can regain the trust of everyone you betrayed, their forgiveness, what if you get a new chance to be the good one now?"

"I've done things that can't be forgiven..."

"Probably yes... you're the one who knows the whole truth and can try to correct it."

"It is bad?"

Sylvie laughed so gloomily at it, "no - it's definitely not for you! You are the one who tried to prevent it from the very beginning, but I am the one who caused it all! I'm not responsible for the actions of all, but I knew the risk and I did it without thinking... when you tell someone the truth, you can't miss the fact, how do you know about it... what exactly happened and who is to blame!" She was pretty upset.

Loki approached to Sylvie and stroked her arms, "do you think I would put you at risk?"

Sylvie looked at him, "you don't have to do it purposefully... but by wanting to fix it, I have to admit my mistakes. But this one mistake can hurt everyone. Can they let it be?"

Loki didn't like the idea of how much Sylvie was in danger at all, "no one needs to find out that you have anything to do with it. In addition, we were there together."

"But you didn't kill him, you tried to stop me."

"Only you know that," they were so close to each other again.

"If you don't tell the truth, you'll be my accomplice in crime," she whispered.

"I'm a good liar," he smiled at her, and they looked into each other's eyes, Loki stroking her back so lightly, they were close, but it was so pleasantly unforced.

"You should be," Sylvie smiled slightly.

"I want to do a good thing, but not at the cost of endangering you... do you believe me?" His gaze was so fervent that reassured Sylvie again, she stroking his cheek.

"Yes, I believe you..." they just stared at each other for a moment before Sylvie suddenly threw her hands around his neck with such a provocative smile and immediately looked so serious, "but there is still one important question."

"What?"

"So what about my idea with that table?" She had such an innocent smile.

"Sylvie!" Loki exhaled, surprised and amused at the same time, wanting to say something before Sylvie silenced him with a kiss.

Later that day, Sylvie was sitting on the porch at the back entrance to the house, watching the sunset so thoughtfully. The view was not the best, the garden was overgrown and unmaintained, but she still saw it like the most beautiful place for this moment, she was smiling happily.

After a moment, Loki sat down next to her, and even though she didn't look at him, she smiled a little more. He watched her dreamy expression and smiled too.

"Do you want to hear something crazy?" Sylvie asked.

"Sure..."

"You know... I like this disgusting house, as you like to say, with this terrible garden... with this old things and old furniture..."

"I always said you are so weird!" Loki called amusedly, Sylvie looked at him and hit her elbow in his ribs. "Hey!" Loki was even more amused.

"Don't make fun of me, I mean it..." she looked offended.

"Okay," it was still hard for him to stop smirking.

"I guess I just have a weakness for weird, broken things that nobody cares about," Sylvie exclaimed provocatively.

"Ouch! I don't know if I should take it personally."

Now it was Sylvie who smirked. But after a while she became serious again and a little sad, "would that be so bad? Want to stay here?" She asked herself, "just don't have to run from anyone anymore... don't have to hide... don't have to do bad things to survive... stop fighting and just... sit on the porch and live a life."

Loki didn't know how to answer her, so he just grabbed her hand and intertwined his fingers with hers, but that was exactly the answer.
