"My friends are here", I say checking my phone, Scowling at their messages.

He wiped his face with his hands. Looking pissed, he turns his face away.

I take a turn and grab his face in both my hands and peck his lips.

"Raincheck", I add with a wink and leave him looking like he was contemplating on whether to pounce on me or let me go.

"Go before I change my mind", he groans.

I walk downstairs and open the main door to see my dorks sitting on the steps.

"Finally she is out", Matthew said standing up with his arms open.

Is he going to hug me-

Mia beat him to it and engulfed me in a bear hug.

"What took you so long baby girl"

She knew how much it irked me. I glared and in return, she flashed a toothy grin and I ended up chucking.

I let them in and sat them on the couches of the living room.

"But seriously why y'all are here", I asked shoving my hands in the pockets.

Still mad at them being here at the wrong moment. Couldn't they come here a bit later.

"You not happy with us being here", Jane asked.

Erzik Daniel and Derek Rogue, both quietly watched me.

"To spend the night, I guess" Arnold hesitated.

My eyes were to pop out of my sockets. I blinked.

"Bish what", Matthew almost jumped out of the window. I rolled my eyes.

"We don't see you much in the school. And you take too many of the classes so they decided we should get you a break from exam preparations", Erzik mumbled without looking at me.

I barely heard him but nodded in understanding.

"Yes, that. Exactly what he said. I didn't know how to put it in the words", Mia butted in.

We all decided to watch Netflix and before Arnold could say, Chill, Matthew slapped shut his mouth.

"Only Netflix, no chill. Don't want an orgy taking place"

Jane and my face scrunched and the rest of them laughed.

"An orgy, wouldn't that be an interesting thing", Arnold prodded.

"Nah, them both gonna fight over her", Mia pointed.

Both who and at whom.

"Let them have a threesome then, we won't mind that", Arnold smirked.

"No fuck no"
"Are you fucking shitting me", Derek and Erzik said in unison. And then scowled at each other.

Now we had our snacks laid on the table and we searched through Netflix.

"Let's watch Jujutsu Kaisen", Derek opinionated.

"You watch anime", I perked up.

"Bitch we all watch anime", Mia slapped my back.

"That's exactly what brought us closer and made us friends", Arnold said.

Listening to that gave me a world. I was hella happy to know that. In my old school, they thought I was a giant stupid kid to still watch cartoons at my age. Little did they know anime is no cartoon.

"One season, 24 episodes", I pointed.

"We won't be able to finish that in one night", Matthew frowned.
