Pools of darkness swarmed around us as a man dressed in ash grey long coat, grey shirt and black pants, made his way toward us.

I watched his long treads and the world around me engulfing in the shadows.

Only then I noticed his face and who he was.

Raven hair perfectly gelled back, stormy grey eyes, sharp jaw clenching and unclenching, his beautiful features set in a calm frenzy. He searched in my eyes to look for I don't know what.

Mr Cameron snapped his fingers and brought me out of the trance I was in.

I saw his mouth parting slightly, he looked over my shoulder and glared at whoever he saw. My head instinctively turned at whatever his eyes were watching.

Before I could turn, he caught my arm and pulled me up. I stumbled and slammed onto his rock hard chest.

"You don't get to see"

I heard his calm low voice.

"Why, I want to see the face behind that cynical laughter"

I was about to turn again when he held me and kept me in his arms.

Burning sensation died and something more rippled through me at the way his fingers brushed at my waist. I snuggled in his chest even more.

"Mr Cameron", I called biting my lip.

"Not Mr Cameron but Zach. Zachary knight"

Not knowing what to say, I stayed quiet. Yes, I had felt many times that he wasn't just Mr Cameron our teacher but hearing directly from him left me shook.

He backed but kept me at arm's length.

"I rightly thought it was your heartbeat", he smiled so slightly and so sweetly.

"What is all this", I ask frustrated and somewhat annoyed.

He shoved his hands in his pockets and tilted his head.

"Well, I don't know how to answer that. Maybe you're hearing the demons"

"Yeah that totally did not scare me"

He chuckled.

"I should get going now. Take care of that sickly love heart"

He backed a few steps watching me, turned and took the rippling pools of shadows along with him.

I stood there in awe as the world around me was Lit again with the sunbeams, I drop to my knees and go face to face with Erzik.

"What were you saying again", Erzik asked.

"I- nothing. I was just suffocated, came out to get some air"

Wow. What a lie.

"Ah, do you need something?"

"Nope, I don't think so. Why you weren't in the class?"

"I needed air too", his eyes saddened.

He looked like he caught his girlfriend cheating.

"Shall we?", he gets up and dust off his pants.
"Sure", I follow him.

"I heard you were cast for the main female lead, congratulations"

"That's too much of a spotlight for my anxious ass"

He glances at me, "you know that's a great opportunity to make some fans here. People won't bother you again with being Derek or any other popular person"
