You awoke the next morning feeling better than the day before, you had thought about your situation a lot.
When your mom came to visit, you knew she wouldn't want you to be upset, you knew she would want to spend her time with her family, her friends and everyone in her life as positively and happy as she could.
When you called her that morning she couldn't stop talking about how excited she was, she had shown you her outfit over facetime and you had even had managed to talk to her nurse who would be travelling with her to the wedding.
The nurses name was Maria Hill, she seemed really nice and was more than willing to help your family during the travel. Your dad was paying her more than she was charging due to the extra lengths she was going to in support of your family.
Everyone was beyond grateful.

"Hey!" You smiled, opening the doors to Steve and Nats apartment.
"Y/N! I'm so glad you could make it!" Nat smiled back, giving you a hug when you came in.
"You feeling better?" Steve asked, walking over to you.
"Much!"
You, Nat and Steve were planning on going for a night out to a new club instead of a traditional bachelor party or bachelorette party.
Nat and Steve weren't doing anything much about their wedding in the traditional way, they enjoyed spending time together and didn't understand why they should have separate parties to celebrate a time they were going to share together.
"Hey, Y/N/N Bucky is gonna tag along if that's good with you, Nat figured if she has her best friend I may as well have mine."
You fidgeted slightly, unsure of whether you wanted to spend time with the man who had pissed you off so much yesterday.
But this wasn't about you.
It was about Steve and Nat, and if they wanted to have that jackass Steve called a best friend there; then so be it.
"Oh- Yeah, yeah uhm that should be great." You replied, forcing the realist looking smile you could manage.
Before you could even come up with a plan on how you could avoid Bucky, or at least avoid him as much as you can- you heard him.
Your eyes screwed shut as you prepared yourself for the night ahead.
There was one thing you knew for sure- alcohol was going to be your best friend tonight.
—
"Hey I was talking to, uh, I don't remember her name." Bucky said as he walked over to the table the rest of you were sat at, "Well anyways not important, what is important is that the first round of shots is on the house."
You rolled your eyes and took a sip of the cocktail you had ordered already.
You had been here for only half an hour and the guy had already flirted with 5 different girls, he even tried to leave with one but Nat gave him a don't you fucking dare sort of look.
The first round of shots came and went, quickly. The familiar taste of vodka calming your nerves as the night went on.
If it wasn't for for unusual amount of alcohol in your body right now, you don't think you would have been able to cope at all when Steve and Nat left to go onto the dance floor.
