"Yeah, mom.... Yeah, I promise to call more often... Where am I? I'm just going into the firm... What firm? It's Buckys firm, mom..." You balanced your phone between your shoulder and your ear, a tray of two starbucks coffees in one hand, and trying to open all the doors with the other hand.

"Oh, Buckys right here..." You said, placing the tray of coffee down on Buckys desk and taking the phone into your actual hand now.

'Who's on the phone?' Bucky mouthed, pointing at your phone.

'Mom.' You mouthed back.

"Oh, you wanna talk to Bucky?" You asked, making eye contact with him.

Bucky began to shake his head rapidly, his hand moving left and right as if he was slicing his neck.

"Yeah, here's Bucky now." You grinned mischievously, passing Bucky your phone, earning you a death glare from Bucky.

"Hey Pamela..." Bucky said, still keeping eye contact with you, however the death glare wore off eventually after a few minutes of spreading with your mother.

Bucky said his last goodbyes, and you shouted goodbye from the other side of the room from the small armchair Bucky had in his office that you were sat drinking coffee at, before he gave your phone back to you, noticing your lock screen as he done so.

"You changed your lock screen?" He asked with a goofy grin.

You had changed your lock screen recently to the picture Bucky took of him kissing your cheek, over 5 months ago after you were pretending to date and he took the selfie of you and him as he surprised you by kissing your cheek.

"I did." You blushed, "I thought that since, y'know, we're doing this thing now that it might be nice to see your face through the day."

"This thing?" Bucky grinned, "You mean how I'm your boyfriend?"

"Well..." You teased, "Are we really doing that."

"Come here." Bucky smiled, holding out his arms.

You walked over to him and done as he asked, sitting lightly on his lap, your coffee still in one hand.

He pecked your lips and smiled, "Yeah, I think we are going that, and I want you to be my girlfriend, and I want the whole world to know."

"The whole world?" You laughed.

"Yup, the whole world. I think you should write an article about it." He joked.

"Random bitch from New York Times and random lawyer dude start dating, oh what a story that will be." You roll your eyes sarcastically as Bucky twirls your hair through his fingers.

"Speaking of datingggg." Bucky says, you eye him suspiciously. "We haven't actually been on a first actual date yet, have we?"

"I guess we haven't." You shrugged.

"So?"

"So?"

"I'm taking you out on Friday when you finish work. I'll come by your apartment and pick you up."

You grinned childishly as he pulled you in for a tight embrace.

It had been two weeks since the events of Bucky-sleeping-with-you-and-then-leaving-but-then-forgiving-him and honestly? Things couldn't be going better. The only thing that was at the back of both of your mind was that tiny little thing Bucky said to you, you know the I love you thing, that neither of you have brought up again, or said, since.

But you honestly didn't mind.

Did you love him? Yes.

Were you bothered he hadn't said it again? Not really.
