After Venti and Barbara stopped singing, and they held hands as they both looked into each other's eyes, they were gonna connect their lips to form a kiss. But as Barbara perused her lips, waiting to feel his soft lips touching hers.

As Venti was about to lean in, he quickly had doubts. He was an archon and it feels wrong to do this. Even if they do end up together, she will die of an old age and he will live forever. Venti sighed and backed away.

Barbara heard the sigh and opened up her eyes and was confused.

"Why didn't you kiss me?" Barbara asked.

"It's......how do I say this?" Venti muttered, trying to find the right words to say.

"Venti, you can tell me anything! What's bothering you?" Barbara places her hand onto the bard's left hand.

Here goes nothing, Venti said in his head. He stood up and Barbara did the same thing.

"Barbara, I can't keep this a secret forever!" Venti said, his voice changed into a serious tone.

This begins to make Barbara shiver in fear, she has never seen the bard become so serious before.

"What-...what secret, Venti? You're starting to scare me because I haven't seen you become so serious." Barbara said.

Venti just gave a small smile as he jumped from the tree and let the wind blow below him to make him float. He pulled out his vision and crushed it by his hand, causing blood to gush out.

This immediately scared Barbara. She screamed as she saw Venti in pain as he ruined his vision .

"VENTI!!" Barbara screamed in a panic.

She was about to jump down and heal him, but Venti landed in front of her and gently shoved her back. His right hand that wasn't in pain created wind, the anemo elemental energy.

Barbara stared intently at the bard, her shock expression was satisfying for the bard to see. As he smiled brightly, as he didn't want to react to the sheer pain on his left hand.

"You're.....you're Lord Barbatos?!!" Barbara said, almost on the verge of tears.

"Now you know my true self, the real me." Venti smiled.

Now he wanted to kiss the adorable deaconess, but she gently moved back as he got close.

"Stay away from me! You can't be Barbatos!! You can't! This has to be a dream! A nightmare!" Barbara shouts at the bard. Her tears streamed down her face.

"Wait please, I'm not gonna hurt you. Please just listen-" Venti was cut off as Barbara sprinted out of there, trying to run back to Mondstadt.

But Venti blocked her way as he teleported in front of her. Barbara screamed in shock to see the bard do that.

She fell onto her butt on the soft grass.

"Barbara, please don't be scared." Venti said, his voice cracked, his heart was breaking. The pain in his voice and body language was noticed by the blonde deaconess.

She got up and tried to run away. Running the opposite direction, which Venti teleported again in front of her. This time, holding her mouth so she won't scream and teleports far away so people can't see. He teleported into Starfell Valley, which he let her go as they got to the location.

She fell onto her butt and tried to crawl away.

"Barbara, please listen to me!" Venti said, a tear rolling down his eye.

Now Barbara witnessed his tears and she ceased her movements, even though she still had fear in her.

"I guess Jean was right. I shouldn't have shown you my true self. But I have to if we're going to be together. But please don't get angry at your sister for keeping this secret from you. It's just that they don't want you to know that the person who you idolize and worship so much, is just a bard who drinks and gets drunk all the time." Venti said, wiping his tears.

Barbara begins to cry as well. She sniffed and wiped.

"YOU IDIOT!!!! WHY WOULD A ARCHON LIKE YOURSELF FALL FOR ME?! I'M JUST A USELESS DEACONESS WHO IS JUST HELPING PEOPLE! THERE IS NOTHING SPECIAL ABOUT ME THAT YOU LIKE!" Barbara exploded with rage and sorrow.

Those words did hurt Venti, he heard her prayers when she was having those dark days.

"DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA THAT THIS HURTS ME THAT THE PERSON I LOVE IS THE GOD I WORSHIP?! THE ONE WHO IS ALWAYS DRINKS AND ALWAYS GETTING DRUNK! My view of my god is ruined!" Barbara covered her eyes and cried like a newborn baby.

Venti went up to her and hugged her tightly. But of course she was enraged and still full of rage. She pushed him back and began to assault him with powerful punches. But that didn't really hurt him since he was stronger due to him being the god of anemo, god of freedom.

She strikes him with so many punches but she slowly stops due to her stamina running out.

"Barbara, I like you a lot. Ever since I started to develop feelings for you, you're just so amazing. You're an idol, you sing beautifully, your beauty is something that I can't control. I always hear you praying to me when you are having those dark days and moments in your life. I'm always here to bless those to you. I'll be there when you need me." Venti said, finally getting up, hugging the girl, who stopped her sobs and looked at him.

"You were truly there?" Barbara asked, her tears slowly running down her cheeks.

Venti just smiles, and wipes her tears with his hand and fingers.

"Of course I am. I'm Barbatos, I can hear your prayers and others. I'm there as well, even though most of the time I can't do everything for everyone since my powers have faded. Basically, haha! I'm one of the weaker archons now, unfortunately." Venti rubs his nape.

Barbara placed her face into his chest. Softly sobbing.

"Come on, let me take you home." Venti grabbed her and teleported her to the houses in Mondstadt.

Barbara led him to her house, which was lucky enough that Jean wasn't here. If her sister was here, she is going to flip out.

Venti was led into her room, which he knew what it looked like since before he lost his powers, he remembers the white snow wallpapers, and pink bed sheets. Her floor was made out of clean wood, and the windows are clear like ice.

Then Barbara grabbed Venti and pinned him onto the bed.

"Uhh?? Barbara?" Venti blushed.
