Festival in Mondstadt

A few weeks passed and Venti and Barbara were getting more closed, now they were beginning to ask more personal questions about each other.

"I see, your father is Seamus Pegg. the Cardinal of Daybreak." Venti exclaimed.

"Yeah! He is. What about you Venti? What is your family like?" Barbara smiled.

"Well, truth be told uhhh......I don't really have a family honestly." Venti rubs his nape, he just wants to tell her that he is Lord Barbatos.

"Oh? I'm sorry I didn't know...." Barbara said feeling shameful, which Venti can feel and see it in her eyes.

"Oh don't be. But hey, you're gonna be singing right? Mind if I join in?" Venti said, hugging the young blonde deaconess.

"Haha, I wish! But no, I have to sing by myself. Plus if you're up there with me there will be rumors being spread about us." Barbara blushed, as she gently pecked the bard on the cheek.

"Aww! I want to be next to you as you sing. I can play the lyre as you sing." Venti smiled.

"Yeah but again, rumors." Barbara giggled.

"Please!" Venti pouted.

"No!" Barbara pecked him again.

Both laughed as it was time for her to sing. Both Venti and Barbara got up and Venti carried her as he jumped from the statue, and glided to the main area where she was gonna sing.

As he landed, Jean gave the bard a piss and death stare, which the other females were all scared of, since they could sense her vibe as it changed.

Barbara goes up to her sister and tries to push her away, she feels like her older sister might harm the bard. Everyone was cheering for Barbara as she got up on stage.

The music was about to play, and Venti was looking forward to this.

As the song ended, everyone in the audience clapped and cheered for the deaconess. Venti on the other hand jumped with excitement and clapped the loudest. After the performance, Venti and Barbara went to go eat with travler, Paimon, Amber, Mona, Razor, and Bennett.

As they were eating Venti couldn't stop commenting and complimenting Barbara, she blushed hard as she endured all of the cute comments her unofficial boyfriend was saying.

"Quit complementing and eat your food!" Barbara grabbed his lips and commanded him to eat.

"Okay ma'am!" Venti said in a goofball tone.

Razor, Mona, and Bennett found it adorable how close these two are getting. Paimon and Aether both laugh as the two are having their moment.

"Hang on, I'm gonna go have some drinks." Venti said, standing up and walking over to Diluc and Jean who both were talking.

But Barbara stopped him and didn't want him to drink as well going near them since her sister was there.

"No no, stay!" Barbara said.

"Aww but I just want some dandelion wine. Plus I do need to talk to Master Diluc." Venti said, trying to walk past Barbara but she resisted and held his hand.

"I don't like it when you drink. Okay mister tell me the truth, how can you drink? You look so young, I don't understand how Master Diluc is giving you wine." Barbara said, tapping her foot onto the hard cement, arms crossed and brow raised.

Venti now really wants to show her his real name and his secret. He was the Lord Barbatos, but he hopes that she doesn't get sad.

"Oh well, I have my ways. Plus I am old enough to drink. Don't worry I'll be back quick." Venti said, but once again, Barbara stopped him.
