Chapter 23 The problem

Aether, Venti, and Barbara all ran to the dungeon to see Childe trying to put on his pants, while Lumine was just hiding her face from the embarrassing scene that she was in. Seman pouring out of her vagina.

"YOU FUCKER!" Aether broke through the bars and grabbed Childe by his throat.

"YOU VIOLATED HER!" Aether shouted. But Eula and Amber and soon Jean who arrived late came to pull him back.

"What the hell were you doing?" Jean asked.

Childe explains everything and everything calms for a bit, well granted Aether was still pissed that Childe just screwed his sister.

Lumine got up and put on her clothes and began to explain everything to the people of Mondstadt.

After her explanation, Venti and Barbara went out to stay together. They went to the roof of the cathedral and sat and looked at the night sky. The battle took a long while and now the sun has finally set.

"I hope that Aether will be okay. But at least his sister is with us now. He got what he was looking for right?" Barbara asked.

"Yeah! But Barbara, I wanted to ask this...." Venti shivered in nervousness.

"What is it?" Barbara smiled brightly at the bard.

"Well, I was thinking about......turning myself into..." Venti slowly began to mumble his sentence, which Barbara couldn't understand.

"What? You're mumbling Venti. Try to speak more clearly." Barbara said.

"I was thinking about turning myself into a mortal." Venti finally said, which stunned Barbara.

"WHAT?! No! Why would you want to do that?" Barbara said in confusion.

"You see, I'm madly in love with you....but-.......since I'm an archon if we do stay together for the rest of time, your life will be gone through aging." Venti said.

"But we spoke about this already. I'll die happy if time takes me away." Barbara said, trying to comfort the bard.

"Well, I was thinking about maybe you should well.......be immortal as well." Venti mumbled.

"Me? Immortal? Like you?" Barbara was stunned.

"I don't wanna lose you....plus we can be together for all eternity." Venti smiled weakly.

"But I don't wanna live forever though." Barbara objected.

"Then I shall turn myself into a human. I want to be with you." Venti said, his tears running down his cheeks.

"Venti....?" Barbara rubs his head and tries to calm him down.

As he sobbed, the air around them was getting aggressive. The wind was blowing hard, green wind moving like claws and it was hitting Barbara.

"VENTI! Please calm down!" Barbara said, gently kissing him on the cheek, which sorta worked due to the winds slowly moving sluggishly. Venti looked at Barbara and apologized.

"Come on, let's go. Let's go shower and get some shut eyes for tonight. The sun is slowly setting now." Barbara said, pulling Venti's hand and they both jumped from the roof. Venti mobilized his anemo, which created a wind that helped them float onto the cement.

Barbara takes him to her house and tries to make him not think about the problems that he is going through.

Back in the cell, everyone finally got the idea of what Lumine's plans were. She joined the Abyss due to the incident with Khaenri'ah. Dain was the "Twilight sword" , one of the royal guards who failed to prevent the destruction. Many were shocked besides Paimon and Aether who both knew about this, during the time they met up with Dain.
