Zhongli was shocked to hear what Venti said, this is the first time his face changed from serious to shock.

"Venti, you do know that converting a mortal into immortal is......a long process since finding the right materials to combine with our powers to make someone-" Venti cut off Zhongli in the middle of the sentence.

"I know but we need to make this happen. She made her choice as I explained to her that if I do become a human, my life will be short." Venti said.

"What do you mean short?" Zhongli asked, he said in a confused tone.

"My vision is broken when I was trying to show her my true self, hence I can't fight normally." Venti begins.

"Don't you carry a bow?" Zhongli pointed out.

"Yeah but it's not strong enough, I need to control the wind. My anemo, the wind that helps me in battle. If I just have a bow and few arrows it's not going to help anyone. Plus, Barbara wants to go on an adventure and I want her to be immortal like me so we can adventure with the traveler." Venti explained.

"I see.....but if she does change her mind and wants to die naturally in life, you know the repercussions, right?" Zhongli asked, warning the bard about the outcome if Barbara no longer wants to be immortal.

"Yes I know, she is going to suffer a lot of pain going back into a human. Since she was born as a pure human, converting back into human will be instant death. I know the effects and outcome. But I just want to be with her for the rest of my life. Well until my children are old enough, and maybe they'll see their mother in heaven." Venti boldly said, staring with powerful eyes into the God of Contracts's gaze. A bit of tears ran down his eyes.

"I see that you're really taking it more seriously than usual. Okay then, but we're going to find these materials, I'll write them down for you so you can find them." Zhongli begins to write with a feather pen.

"But you said "we"?" Venti was confused.

"Oh right! My bad, apologies. Let's get going." Zhongli said he let out a small cough as he passed the note to Venti.

Zhongli teleported away and Venti followed.

Everyone in Mondstadt all were in the cathedral thinking about how to send the two travelers back home. But they don't have their powers, their power that they had before the Unknown God striked, the one who separated Aether and Lumine. They were gone forever.

Paimon was thinking about some ideas that could help, even Lumine, Lisa, and Jean. They were pacing themselves trying to see if they could find out how to recover their powers.

They try to think of ideas but they couldn't find a way. Aether and Lumine both sighed in disappointment, they knew that they're going to be stuck in this world for a while. Not that Aether wants to abandon his new friends he made when he first came here, but he does miss his home as well. They may not have been close with their parents, but they do miss them.

Diluc suggested that the people should eat since it's been several hours of thinking and nothing has come.

"You all must be hungry, I'll request some food for you all." Diluc said.

"That's a good idea. Here take some of my mora and give us anything that is edible." Jean said, passing him a medium size brown bag full of moras.

Diluc left the cathedral and went to Sara to get some food for the group.

As he got the food, he ran back to the cathedral and gave everyone a plate of food to eat.

Everyone was just stressed out from the thinking, they needed a way to find their powers.
