Nadiné's POV~
It's been a few weeks since the traumatic event and things are just not the same anymore. The only good thing that's happened this week was that my doctor was able to tell me and James the gender. We're having a boyyyyyyy!
I was so happy and ofc James was happy as well. Idk I've always wanted a son so I'm excited. I'm 8 months now so me and James went some more shopping for the baby since he is due soon.
We were in this baby store in the mall looking in the boys section. As I looked, my mind kept thinking about the whole Aaliyah situation. None of it made sense to me. There is something clearly missing. James notices me and looked worried.
"You okay?" He asks me concerned.
"Huh? Yea I'm cool." I said taking my attention back to the clothes.
"There is clearly something on your mind. Talk to me." He says facing me.
He looks at me as I sigh.
"I've just been thinking about this whole Aaliyah drama." I finally say.
"Wdym?" He asked confused.
"Like none of it makes sense. There is no way Aaliyah could have killed herself. She would never do something like that." I explained.
"I mean Dante said that he saw her dead when he came in but ion know something ain't right. That nigga been actin very suspicious lately." He replied.
"We need to talk to him cause if anyone knows anything about her death it's him." I sighed
putting some clothes I picked up back."Just try not to think about it too much. Ion want you stressin too much." He said looking down at me.
I give him a slight kiss as we continue shopping for more clothes.
James was right. Dante was acting a bit weird ever since the incident. I wasn't gonna let her death go without trying to figure out what tf actually happened.
Im not tryna make any accusations but something was telling me that Dante knows something. And I was gonna found out.
Anyways, I needed to focus on Aaliyah's funeral which was taking place this weekend. I decided to make the speech cause I knew Ms Loretta wouldn't be strong enough. Hopefully things go smoothly just how Aaliyah would have wanted it....
