Niara's Pov

Right now it's 4am and i haven't slept yet. The fact that my drink was spiked and i could've been sexually assaulted less than 10 hours ago just scares me so much.

I'm just sitting on my bathroom floor, crying. The crying only started about 30 minutes ago, before that i was just thinking. I don't even know why i'm crying, nothing happened to me i'm fine.

Obviously I had been crying louder than i meant to, as someone just knocked on my door.

"Niara open the door please" Corbyn whispered from my room. (A/N She has an en suite)

I quickly wiped all my tears and tried to make myself look like i hadn't been crying before slowly opening the door.

Before the door even opened fully Corbyn hugged me.

"Corbyn I'm fine you can go back to bed i am completely and totally fine" I said, my voice cracking as my sentence went on.

"No your not and it's ok to not be ok Niara. I get that you are probably upset and scared about what happened, but you don't have to hide it from me" He said holding my arm and walking me over to my bed.

"Come on, get into your bed and just try to get some sleep ok?" He said as he was moving me so that i was comfortably lying down in my bed.

"Corbyn i'm not a baby ok? I'm fine. Just go back to your room" I said, looking at my hands.

"Look i'm not gonna get mad at you for whatever you say, nor will i stop making sure your ok. I know your not a child but your not going through this alone. Get some sleep" Corbyn said as he tucked my hair behind my ear, then started to walk out.

"Well if your gonna be like that can you at least stay with me" I said quietly.

"Do you want me to?" He asked walking back over.

"Yeah i need someone to cuddle right now if i'm gonna try sleep" I said with my arms out motioning for him to get in beside me.

"I'll cuddle you for as long as you need me to" He said, now lying in my bed.

My head is on his chest, his arm around my shoulder. No one could ever make me feel as safe as i do when i'm in Corbyn's arms. He makes me so happy without even realizing it.

{time skip about 2 or 3 days later)

Corbyn's Pov

Zach and I have been in Hawaii for 5 days now, and honestly so far it's the best holiday i've ever had. The three of us just have the best time when we are together.

In 2 days , it's Niara's 22nd birthday, so Zach, Jack, Gabbie and I are throwing her a little party, but it's kind of complicated.

Basically our idea is to have a prom themed party for her, but since there's only 5 of us here Jonah, Daniel, Tate, Franny, Eben and Ashley are all flying out.

The reasoning behind it is because she never went to prom, the school she went to didn't have proms, but she always says how she wishes she had one.

We are renting out an actual high school for the night of her birthday. Everyone will be wearing fancy suits and dresses. But the big thing is..

I'm asking her to go with me. The morning of her birthday im going to make a big sign basically just asking her to prom. Then i'll take her out to buy a prom dress.

I won't tell her anything, just to go along with it. All the boys except Zach and Eben are bringing dates to this prom, but Niara doesn't have one so i'm taking her, it might also give me a chance to tell her about my feelings for her.

Right now, Gabbie, Jack and I are in the mall just looking for things we could buy for it. Zach and Niara are home with Lavender.

"Have the other girls already bought dresses?" I asked.

"Yeah Tate is wearing dark blue, Franny is wearing a dark red kind of maroon color, Ashley is wearing a baby pink and I'm wearing lilac". Gabbie made sure that none of them have the same color dress because she said it would look better.

"Ok that's fine because knowing Niara she will definitely pick a forest green colored dress" I answered.

So far we have bought almost everything we will need to decorate the hall in the school. Tomorrow night, the others are flying in and will be decorating the school along with Zach,Gabbie and Jack. I have to keep her busy.

Zach's Pov

"What can I say except your welcome!" Lav, Ni and I sang. We are just lying in Niara's bed watching Moana.

I have to keep her busy while the others go shop for the party. I'm kind of upset that i'm like the only guy with no date. To be honest i would've asked Niara if Corbyn hadn't said he was going to.

I'm not saying i like Niara like that, but she's the type of person that i can't tell if i'm in love with her as a friend or actually in love with her.

"Niaraaaaa i'm tiredddd" I said as she played with my hair.

"I know baby you can sleep if you want to" She always calls me baby, i dont know why but it's really cute, and it's not romantically.

"Wait can i actually"

"Yeah Lav is asleep on the other side of me, she's clinging to my arm for dear life" She said quietly.

"Nah i won't leave you on your own. Niara do you have feelings for Corbyn?" i asked.

"Woah ok that was random. Um but yeah i do, but i would never say it to him. I don't want to ruin the friendship. I would never let myself believe that i actually liked him, but now it's undeniable".

"You guys would be adorable, but please not before we go back. I don't wanna be a third wheel". I responded.

"He's the first guy i've ever felt like this with. Yeah i've had crushes over the years, but none of them felt like this. I feel myself always wanting to be with him all of the time, always wanting to see his smile and he makes me feel so safe"

I'm starting to feel like maybe i'm not wanted here. Maybe she wished Corbyn came on his own.

"I used to feel like that with Kay but it just went away after time. I'm convinced that you are my soulmate. Not romantically, but as friends. Your my friend soulmate" I said as i started to close my eyes.

"You, Zachary Dean Herron, are my platonic soulmate. And i couldn't be happier about it" She said before i drifted off to sleep.
