Chapter 12: Ashley

I begin to walk back to where Fin is sitting. She's drinking a mimosa and picking with her croissant. When she sees me she flashes me a soft sweet smile. I then see her look past me and her smile fades. So I look behind me and I see Aura walking out of the door I just exited from.

Fin's face turns from soft and sweet to angry and annoyed. She's about to get up. So I walk up to her and ask, "Can we go for a walk?" She sighs. But reluctantly says, "Yeah." But when she gets up she's tense and awkward. Before I even open my mouth she asks, "What in the fuck was that?" I turn and look her in the eye. "I honestly don't know Fin. The bitch came up to me, I didn't go to her.", I say.

I don't like the feeling of being accused of something, when all I did was go to the fucking bathroom. Plus I'm the one that's supposed to be getting answers to my questions. I put my hands in my Death hoodie (she knows it's my fave). "I think I'm the one who should be asking questions.", I then quickly add.

She squints. "Like what questions?", she asks now looking confused. "Like what Aura is talking about, when she says you're not innocent.", I tell her. She squints again and sucks her teeth. I put my hands on my hips and wait for an answer. She shakes her head,"Bitch." She says that under her breath. "Aura was in a relationship when we started fucking with each other.", she admits.

"And when I found out about her and the couples, I fucked her best friend first. Mya was like her sister. That's when she start fucking my friend.", she explains further. "That's one of the reasons she is constantly going after my girlfriends. Payback.", she adds. She now has an embarrassed look on her face. "I'm not proud of anything I did...", she says. "Needless to say we had a very toxic relationship.", she tells me.

I tell her, "You left out some pretty big ass facts...if I'm being honest." She runs her hand through her hair and says. "I know. Honestly I wasn't sure how to explain. All that shit is in my past. I'm not the same person I was back then." I look at her. "Dude you were gonna completely go on with our relationship and not tell me, shit.", I tell her.

"There might be some remnants of the old you still up in there." I say and shrug. "That's not true.", she says. She goes to reach for me. I back up quickly and walk away. I don't wanna be near her right now. I go back to the room. And "Are you fucking kidding me?, I think. I sigh. "What do you want Aura?", I ask. I'm completely and utterly annoyed right now.

Aura is leaning on the wall right outside the door to our room. She holds up her hands. "I just wanna talk.", she responds. "If Fin sees you she'll kill you.", I tell her. "Ashley or Fin as you call her ain't gonna do shit.", she comes back with. Her tone changed. Like she became more forceful with her words. So I just sigh and rub my temples. "Talk.", I say. I honestly just wanna get away from everyone.

"Did she tell you everything.", she asks me. "Um lets see; y'all both started off full of shit. You continued to be a piece of shit. So she did some dumb shit and now you're vengeful as shit.", I say. "Did I miss something?", I then ask. I'm not here for no games today. She chuckles and shakes her head. "Fair enough." she says. "I see why she likes you.", she tells me. She's trying to be cute. I'm not like Fin's other girlfriends.

Imma end this shit right now. "What's so funny?", I ask. I then look her dead in her eyes and say, " Oh and she also told me last night how much of a lying thief you are too." She stops kekeing then. I cross my arms and I now have a deadly serious look on my face. I then shrug."So I honestly don't see what's funny.", I say. Before I go in the room I make sure to let it be known how I really feel. "Y'all both are seeming like real goddamn assholes, right now."
