Chapter 18

HeeJin's POV

 

I saw how rude this guy was towards MaeRi-ah at the café, but I didn't know why.. Until we went to the washroom and she told me how they first met and how he kissed her when she was drunk, I couldn't stand the idea of a guy taking advantage of her. I was angry. I can't believe that is KyungSoo's brother, they are so not alike, KyungSoo is just decent and gentle like that, but this other guy named JongIn, He's rude and a player. If only he wasn't KyungSoo's little brother, I would've punched that little brat in the face. Nevertheless, I decided I'll help her take revenge on him, and we agreed that completely ignoring him and being rude for now is the best thing to do. This punk doesn't even deserve to see her smiling face. MaeRi and I have been friends for years, ever since she came to Korea, and we even lived together for a while before she got her own apartment, I also helped her get a job at company I'm working at.

  We were always there for each other, even though she seems cold and careless at times, but I know how warm and caring she really is, because I've seen how she would worry about me everytime I get sick or have problems. And I wasn't just gonna let some guy ruin my friend's life and make her feel bad.

When we got into the car and KyungSoo started driving, I eyed them through the car front mirror. I noticed she was completely ignoring him and that was good, But then something caught my eye.. I looked at JongIn to see he was eyeing her, then his eyes travelled somewhere else, I followed his gaze and it fell on MaeRi's legs. I gasped silently.. I can't believe that bastard! How could he do such thing! I was so pissed off right now! He didn't stare for long before he turned his head to the car window and opened it.

Soon enough, we arrived at an amusement park, usually I would be happy to be at such a place, but right now, my head was occupied with worries. 

Kyungsoo and I went inside first, since KyunsSoo just took me by the hand I couldn't get a hold of MaeRi. We got Ice-cream and sat at a bench.. I didn't see her coming inside from the gate, I don't know where she is.. I'm worried about her being with that- Okay, I need to stop cursing him -JongIn.

KyungSoo was making conversations and making me laugh, for minutes he would get my mind off of my thoughts and worries, that's why I like him. But now I need to focus more on my worries than ignore them.

"Are you okay? Is there something bothering you?" He asked worriedly, he must have noticed..

I warmly smiled "I'm okay, I just need to use the restroom" and with that, I got up and went to the restroom, I texted MaeRi as I got in.

KAI's POV

 

I noticed my heart beats  around her a lot whenever I see her.. But today was kind of different, seeing her look so pretty and acting so cute, and the fact that she cried from being too happy.. I just can't control how fast and loud my heart beats.

It's like she's somehow different, I don't know how or what's special about her, but I want to know more about her as time passes.

I silently looked at her face, studying every single feature of it.

 "Aaah~~ I don't know where HeeJin and Kyungsoo went, we should probably go look for them quickly" She suddenly spoke cutting off my thoughts.
