MaeRi's POV
As he led me inside, a waitress came towards us for assistance "Sir, Do you already have a Reservation?" she asked.. I got nervous, "This really is one of the restaurants where you have to make a reservation before you can just go eat there!" I thought to myself.. As I was just about to open my mouth to tell him to go eat someplace else "Yes, Please look for a reservation under the name of 'Do Kyungsoo'" he said. The waitress bowed and after a few minutes she came back, and immediately led us to our table..
I believe I was still dumbfounded by all this because I almost jumped out of place when I noticed Kyungsoo snapping his fingers at me in attempt in gain my attention; asking if I was okay. "Yes, I'm okay.. umm, how did you-"
I was cut off by his chuckle "I know this is all very sudden to you, but you have to believe what I'm going to tell you..My family actually own this restaurant.. As well as the company we work in" he said with a smile not leaving his face.
Oh you've gotta be kidding me. "I'm sorry what?" I cracked a small laugh.
"Okay ,I'll break this straight down to you, I'm one of the heirs of the infamous "Digital Times" Company in Korea. My brothers JoonMyun and JongIn are also heirs, JoonMyun Hyung has the largest share since he's the eldest, and me second, and JongIn comes last since he's youngest"
What he was saying was a lot to take in.. I found it hard to comprehend all of this new information "Wait, then why are you even work-"
"I work in the company to observe work closely and learn so I can manage my family's business when the time comes." He cut me off-again. Seeming to answer every single question in my mind before I even finish asking it.
"Okay so you're telling me you're a legal 'Digital Times' heir and that you basically own this restaurant AND the company we work in?" I questioned only to receive a nod from him.
"Also, this is top secret, no one at the company knows who I really am. Not even employees at this restaurant know me.."
"Then why are you telling me all this..?" I asked furrowing my brows. What was the point of telling me all this when we aren't even that close? Heck I even hesitated on whether he was a friend of mine or not!
"You see, Maeri.. I-" He started before he was cut off by his ringtone. He excused himself to answer the phone.
I sat there.. trying to wrap my little brain around everything he said.. So Kyungsoo wasn't as cute and simple as I thought.. He turned out to be a rich businessman and the son of the owners of Digital Times.... Wow.
"Hey uhh... I'm really REALLY sorry but I just have to go right now.. I know this is very rude of me, but something came up with the company and I have to be there right now, but I'll send over my little bro to pick you up and take you home, wait for him okay? I'm really sorry about this again.." He rambled quickly before he rushed out of the restaurant, and before I knew it, he was out of sight.
"Shit exactly for how long do I even have to wait for this little brother to come pick me up?? I'm just tired and wanna go home for god's sake!" This was NOT my day. I huffed as I drank my glass of wine.
One bottle of wine later, I was already feeling my head get tipsy as I lied it on the table. Hearing footsteps come closer to my ear I lift my up the table to see a fine figure standing in front of me.. Finely tanned skin, perfect body and perfect sharp features.. What in the world? What's this perfect creature? an angel? a dream? god is that you? Is this the effect of wine? Should've known better than to finish up a whole bottle of wine on my own!
