--Michael's POV--

I've officially been home for almost two weeks now. I'm home where I belong. Home with my amazing husband and two beautiful toddlers.

It wasn't the easiest when I came home. I didn't expect everyone to run to me with open arms and forgive me right away. But I didn't expect the hate that I received from Jason and Josiah.

The two of them still refuse to talk to me. They even moved out. Jason said that they both never wanted to see me again and that next time I should successfully kill myself.

It hurts. Hurts more than I can even begin to explain. Two of my own sons hate me and want me dead.

Mikey, Thomas, and Fitz video chatted with me last week. They were more forgiving, but still upset with me for doing what I did. Apparently Jason and Josiah moved in with them.

Mika's family was the most forgiving. They always are. I was hoping it would rub off on my kids, but it hasn't. Ezra and Fortune had already forgiven me, but they deserved a real apology from me.

And today I get to apologize to Jacob. According to everyone he's been going through hell. Not just because of me, but because of Henrik. I never did like Henrik. I've told Jacob before that he should move on before he gets his heart broke.

No ones even heard from Jacob in the last two weeks until today. He finally texted me back. I would've preferred a phone call, but I'll take any communication right now.

"Hey dad," Jacob says as he enters the kitchen.

"Hey, want a sandwich? I was just about to ma-what the fuck happened to your face Jacob?" I question my son who's left side of his face is covered in bruises.

"I fell dad. Don't wo-"

"Don't worry? Are you serious? What happened Jacob?" I ask him again as I guide him to the living room.

"Dad please," he says in a shaky voice as he sits next to me on the couch.

"Jacob, you can tell me. Whatever it is. Just please tell me. You know I will understand and protect you."

"Dad, I had to beg him to see you," Jacob starts as tears begin to roll down his face. "He...uh...he just keeps me locked in the apartment. Today's the first day in two weeks that I've stepped foot outside of it."

"Jacob, where is he?" I ask him as I pull him in for a hug.

"He said he'd pick me up in an hour. If I don't meet him he'll just hurt me. He'll probably just hurt me anyways."

"You're not leaving Jacob. I'm calling the police Jacob. Don't argue with me," I tell him as I pull out my phone.

Jacob nods and rests his head on my shoulder.

--Three Hours Later--

Henrik never showed up back at the house. The police are still looking for him.

"Dad, it's been three hours. They won't find him," Jacob says nervously as he waits in the living room.

He hasn't moved from the couch since the police left.

"Yes they will," I reply as I continue to sweep the floor.

"How can you clean right now?" Jacob asks causing me to chuckle.

"Like this," I tell him.

"When's everyone going to be home?"

"Any minute."

"Call the police," Jacob tells me.

"Why?" I ask as I put the broom away.

"See if they found him."

"They said they'd call. Now go make yourself something to eat. You didn't touch the sandwich I made earlier."

"I'll eat when we have dinner," he replies as he lays down on the couch.

"Fine, but at least take a nap. You're getting moody," I tell him.

Just as he was about to close his eyes my phone rings. Jacob immediately sits up.

"It's Mika," I tell him.

He sighs and lays back down.

"Yes dear?" I answer.

"Love I miss you!" Mika yells into the phone.

"Then come home," I reply as I sit next to Jacob.

"I wish. But good news..my concert Friday is canceled, so I'll be home Thursday night!"

"Why did it get canceled?" I ask.

"Well that's a long story. I'll explain when I get home. I have to go finish getting ready. I love you love!"

"I love you. Good luck!" I tell him before hanging up.

"Why can't I find someone that loves me?" Jacob asks as I toss my phone on the coffee table.

"You will. I'm sure Henrik did."

"No, you can't love someone and do that. I just...is it weird that I'm jealous of you, Mikey, and Ezra? You guys all have someone that truly loves you. I just want that," Jacob tells me.

"I don't think it's weird. But hey, are you still into girls?" I ask him.

"Yea?" Jacob answers with a weird look on his face.

"I know someone I think you might like. She's a couple years older, but she's gorgeous and smart. She's a nurse."

"Do you have a picture of her?"

"No, but I can set you two up on a date. She's single," I inform him.

Jacob thinks for a second before nodding his head.

"Alright, but wait until my face heels."

"Jacob she's a nurse. She's seen worse. If she says yes I'll let her know ahead, so she doesn't get weirded out."

"She'll think I'm pathetic for letting my ex beat me," he sighs.

"Let's just go with you got into a fight sticking up for Ezra."

"Ok I guess," Jacob says as he closes his eyes. "Dad?"

"Yup?"

"I'm glad you're home," he says before he falls asleep.
