--Mika's POV--

"Love, I'm home!" I yell as I enter the house.

The house is quiet.

"Michael?" I ask as I walk through the living room.

With no answer I head to the bedroom. As I enter the room Michael is passed out. Jacob is laying on top of the covers next to him.

I decide to let the two nap a little bit longer and start lunch. Mama had already let me know that she has the kids for the day. She knows how Michael and I like our alone time right when I get home.

"Mika?" a very sleepy Michael asks as he walks into the kitchen half dressed.

"Love, you need to put a shirt on before I bend you over this counter," I inform him.

He smiles and walks over to me and wraps his arms around my neck.

"I missed you," he says softly into my ear.

"I missed you more," I tell him as I tighten my grip around his waist.

"If Jacob wasn't here I'd let you bend me over," he whispers.

"Well why don't we send him home?" I ask as I begin to place kisses on his shoulder and up his neck.

"He's going through a lot Mika. His situation with Henrik is worse than what he initially told me," Michael says as he pulls out of our hug and sits down.

I sit across from him," what do you mean?"

"Henrik beat him everyday. He forced him to have sex with him. He forced him to have sex with others while he watched. He mutilated him with objects. It's just fucked up Mika.

"He's just broken right now," Michael pauses, but then continues. "He's slept here since the day he told me. He's scared. Jacob can't barely sleep without having nightmares of him. I should've been there Mika."

"Michael, you didn't know. None of us did. Has he gone to therapy yet?"

"No. He doesn't want to leave the house. They caught Henrik last night and he's still scared to leave. And I'm not going to make him," Michael finishes.

"I'm going to finish lunch. Should we wake Jacob up?"

"No, let him sleep," Michael says before disappearing back into the bedroom.

Jacob slept the rest of the day away. He slept through dinner. Michael tried getting him up, but he didn't want to.

"Mika, I don't feel good," Michael whines as he sits next to me on the couch.

"What's wrong love?"

"My head hurts and I feel sick to my stomach. Did you poison me?"

"Yes," I say jokingly to him.

"I'ma go to bed. Love you," Michael says before heading to bed.

The next morning I'm awoken on the couch by two screaming three year olds.

"Daddy!" The two scream in unison.

"What is wrong?" I ask Emmett as I pick the two of them up.

"Daddy's hurt," Emmett says casually to me after they both stopped screaming.

"What?" I ask as I set the two of them down and run to where they were pointing.

When I get into Emmett's room Michael is on the floor having a seizure. I can't control the tears from falling as I sit and watch him. It's been a while he's last had one.

"Daddy," Emmett says as he walks into his room.

"Take your sister to see Jacob. He's in daddy's room," I tell them.

The two of them wander off as Michael stops seizing. I rub his back and wait for him to regain his strength.

"It's okay love," I tell him.

"Mika, what happened?" Jacob asks as he enters the room.

"Seizure," I tell him.

"Is he going to be okay?"

"Yes. Please keep an on your sister and brother."

Jacob sighs and then leaves, shutting the for behind him. Ten minutes later Michael still hasn't woken up. I'm really starting to get worried.

"Michael," I say as I roll him to his back.

That's when I realize he isn't even breathing. I immediately start to panic.

"Michael!" I shout as I tap his face. "Jacob!"

Jacob comes running in.

"What?"

"Call for help. He's not breathing," I tell him.

Jacob calls for help as I begin chest compressions on Michael. It feels like an eternity before the EMTs arrived. They pulled me off of him and took him away.

I don't even know if Michael was breathing when they took him. No one would tells us anything when we arrived at the hospital. Paloma took all of the kids, while everyone else is just waiting.

--Ezra's POV--

I've never seen Mika this frightened. We're all scared, but we're all also trying to keep it together for Mika. He's been blaming himself since we arrived. Telling us that he should've check sooner than he did. We tried convincing him that there was nothing else he could've done, but he just blocks us out.

"Mr. Penniman?" A doctor asks as they enter the waiting room.

Mika jumps up.

"Do you want to talk in private or is everyone present family?"

Mika falls back into the chair behind him. His head drops into his hands as he begins to cry. I'm pretty confused right now.

"Oh no. I'm so sorry. Michael's fine," the doctor reassures Mika.

Mika stops crying and lifts his head.

"Michael hit his head pretty hard. He does have a concussion. I cannot explain why he stopped breathing, but he's breathing fine on his own right now," the doctor pauses for and looks down at his clipboard.

"And unfortunately his tumor has reappeared. I've scheduled him to start chemo Monday. The sooner we treat it hopefully the sooner it disappears."

With that the doctor told us my dads room number and walked away. Mika just sat in his chair as everyone else made their way to his room.

"Mika?" I ask him as I stand next to him.

"Ezra, I can't do this again," Mika cries. I sit next to him and rub his back. "I can't sit back and watch this thing slowly kill him."

"It's not going to kill him Mika. The doctor said he's starting chemo. It's always worked."

"I just...I just have a really bad feeling about this round Ez," Mika tells me before standing and leaving me to sit by myself confused as hell again.
